Nice atmosphere for a small restaurant. Had a nice sandwich, but felt like it should have been served hot rather than wrapped up in deli paper. Dessert menu was underwheling with cheesecakes and puddings. Service was okay even though it seemed like we had to ask for everything two or three times. While this restaurant is certainly better than most in the Miami area, it still has room for improvement.

Busy place but we got a seat in about 15 minutes. Staff were friendly but a little hurried. The meal was your average restaurant chain fare. But the cheesecake is something else. Totally awesome is all I can say. You can get it at a separate counter to go. Very large pieces and they include whip cream in the take out container. Best place for cheesecake.

Excellent. The veal was superb. The pasta with porchini mushrooms was sublime. Our server, the owners son, was attentive and had great suggestions for our enjoyment. The complimentary chocolate mouse cake (his
Grandma’s recipe) was melt on your tongue delicious. We are Canadian and welcomed the opportunity to sit outside on the sidewalk patio with twinkle lights and charm. Reminded us of Italy in a small mountain top town. Don’t miss a chance to partake of this delightful “forget-I-am-in-Florida eatery. Just wow. We will be back.

This is located in trendy Mary Brickell Village which was close to our hotel in Miami. Beautiful location with a fountain beside the outdoor tables and fantastic people watching. We were here before and after our cruise and I have to say it was good to sit with a great cup of hot (please, we're Canadians!) coffee. Kids all had frappacinos which were prepared to specifications and the wi-fi was greatly appreciated. Service was friendly despite the Sunday morning line ups. Note there is no washroom at this location, you have to use a public one behind it.

Windowless but highly popular, somewhat noisy but fun and informal seafood house. Excellent selection of oysters. The usual stone crabs and many seafood e tree options, branzino very reliable.

Service is pretty good but can be a little brusque as they are serving so many people.

Easy parking in large outside. Waiting time common on weekends.

Pleasant white table ambience and exceptional service, easy parking behind or on street, sidewalk as well as indoor dining, good list of Portuguese wines.

Salt cod signature dishes for our table were well-prepared with fish cooked exactly right. Paella was undistinguished by comparison. Among desserts, I’d recommend the creme caramel with port sauce, much more robust than the usual jello-like interpretation.

Cafe Pastis

I have been dining at this cozy and casual French Bistro for 20 years. Opened in 1999 by chef Philippe Jacquet, a native of Marseille, who was trained at one of the top culinary schools in Paris and cut his teeth at notable restaurants in New York City, the Caribbean, and San Francisco (where he was written up favorably in "Gourmet" magazine.) He's there often to personally greet diners with his charming demeanor!

The various plates served à table range from delicious appetizers, such as their scrumptious gratinée a l'onion, frottes d'ail, or onion soup as its more commonly known stateside, to the Assiette de Charcuterie, a selection of homemade duck pâté, prosciutto, salami and accompaniments!

There's an outstanding selection of sandwiches, salads and entrées offered at lunch and dinner hours. Make sure to reserve a table and/or get there early as there is very limited seating, and this restaurant has a bustling, loyal, local following.

I especially love the endive salad with Roquefort and roasted walnuts; smoked salmon sandwich on crusty French baguette, Moules Marinieres, and the grilled Entrecôte au Poivre. All of the desserts are delectable. My favorite is the tarte tatin.

There is indoor and outdoor seating at Café Pastis, located in a small strip mall in historic South Miami, a block from the intersection of Sunset Drive and Red Road. Once inside however you'll be transported to France.

Bon Appétit!!

A wonderful celebration for a colleague who is taking on a new assignment. We enjoyed the lively setting at George's, the quality of the food/beverage, and the service.

They make it fun in the electrified environment of the restaurant. The menu is nicely put together, and the quality of the food is high. We had a young lady taking care of us, and felt lots of TLC. Look forward to going back ...
