A truly warm cosy welcoming environment with attentive friendly waiters. Could not have been more helpful in explaining the various dishes and responding to both of our dietary requirements, without demur when we went slightly "off piste" with the menu. Will definitely return next time.

I was there for dinner with one of my Austrian friend & had a great dinner there. Had fish for the first time .... very special directly taken out of the local lake, was superb. All staff members were very friendly. For me everything from location to food to staff was great.
Its my wish now to be there during my next visit to Lenzing.

Previous negative reviews definitely have led to a major improvement because they no longer represent how excellent this restaurant is in autumn 2017! I had great enjoyment Reading the menu options and having a lot of them explained by the efficient and charming head waitress. Everything was cooked beautifully and promptly. Despite it being busy with a largish convention group I was looked after throughout.

Every time I visit Attersee in Austria, I make it a point first to stop in at the Bootshaus. First, it is easily accessible from the Autobahn. Secondly, there is enough parking. And third, not only is the atmosphere pleasant, being situated right on the river/lake, the food is superb! The portions are huge and the food is fresh. So many times I have visited the Bootshaus for lunch and dinner. Actually, I've been visiting this restaurant ever since they opened up! The last time I was here was in Nov, 2011. I wish we had this restaurant in Tampa! My compliments to the chef, Andreas! I am looking forward to returning to Austria and coming in to see everyone again!

Couldn't find any Salami on my "Diavolo Baguette with Salami". When I enquired at the waitress she ignored my comment. Also rest of the food (e.g. Bruscetta) we ordered was crappy. Water from the bottle wad good though ;-). We liked the free WLAN.

Place with meaning - traditional cozy atmosphere, austrian hospitality , briliantly executed food - selected variations of austrian and mediterranean specialties.../actually the fish was great experience/, good composed wine list... And did I mentioned that the bread is amazing?!
We will however look forward to returning to try more :)

We were there in 2011. Last year we were in the area, but could not remember the town this was in. We were so frustrated because it was was best food we had had. Their garlic soup is amazing as is their potato salad. Their snitzel can serve 4, it was huge and the view and town are a storybook dream.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff plus the food is great. I ordered the tafelspitz which was cooked perfectly and served with plenty of fresh vegetables and plenty of semmelkren. It was delicious. My husband ordered the house pizza which was also perfectly cooked and a salad which was lovely and fresh and served with lots of kernoil. Our little dog was welcome. The service from the wait staff was excellent. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

Mr. Leimer is the capable manager of this nice restaurant and beer-house where you will be welcomed with a smile and a freshly brewed beer .
The restaurant offers both a traditional beer-stube side and a modern one just recently created for the more sophisticated business dinners.
The entire personnel and the very tasty selection of dishes will make your stay a moment to remember.
