Had a lovely dinner at Au Crocodile. The service was exactly as you would expect, very professional and everything done perfectly. I had the four course menu and what really stood out was all the additional courses. Realised about one hour into the meal still had not been served the first course but not due to slow service, due to multiple amuse bouche. Some were awesome, some not as much (and differed by family member) but made for a pleasant experience.
My one slight annoyance was we had asked if a vegetarian would have issues, were assured by email that she would not, also told by the waitress it was not an issue when we were seated but my daughter was still given the regular menu and asked several times if she at least ate fish; which made her feel quite uncomfortable (though her vegetarian dishes were quite good and she had no complaints on the food)
While the duck pate is one of the signature dishes, I found the two mains the standouts. A fish dish in a wonderful foamy sauce and venison fillet carved at the table.
One of the nicest touches was a sweets trolley at the end of the night. Although we were too full to fully enjoy, brings a smile to anyone's face, from 10 to 90.
Good experience.

Le Gavroche is a classic, white table cloth French restaurant that oozes with class and sophistication.
It manages to combine traditional cuisine in more modern packages. I had a crab and shrimp appetizer that was crafted into a modern idea of a spring roll, as well as a beautifully-plated steak that was perfectly cooked and surrounded by root vegetables.
Service here is mostly excellent, yet borders on almost uncomfortably formal.
Prices here are high, yet the food is worth it for the most part.
The biggest quibble I had was the pacing of the service. Two courses required almost 3 hours. We debated having dessert, yet were tired from a long day of tourist-ing, and didn't want to stay here over 3 hours.
If you like, they offer 6 courses in a tasting menu. You can choose any amount of courses from 3 to 6 at different price points starting at 65€ and increasing 10€ with each additional course. You can also order a la carte.
I highly recommend having every member of your party order the same number of courses to keep things on track.
Definitely book it, yet expect to spend a lot of time here.

We had a simply fabulous night here. As group of friends wanted somewhere with good food, good wine and good ambience. We got it in spades here along with great craic.
This place is tiny. Run by husband and wife and that's it. Wife running around so busy but yet time to laugh and joke - and advise as well.
Others in group ecstatic oVet various dishes. As a not eater of ham or pork or deer or venison I opted for a vegetarian dish of potatoes and a cream cheese. It was lovely and surprisingly filling.
Absolutely worth a visit. But would definitely need to book ahead.

Amazing cosy restaurant designed like a ship inside so you have a feeling you are on board. High-level cuisine serving primarily seafood and fish specialities (no meat dishes available). Professional staff attentive to detail and wishes of visitors. Located next to La Petite France.
Due to restricted amount of tables and high popularity within the locals better to make a reservation in advance.

Great food, great atmosphere. Team is friendly. We had their fish and chips and it was really fantastic. The fish soup as a starter was also tasty. Unfortunately we havent tried the desert ( starter and meal were already served in big portions ;-))

This is a lovely little place. It feels like your walking into someone's living room. We were welcomed and shown to our table. We were given help to understand the menu and we made our choices. The portions were really very generous and they tasted very nice. We had a lovely family meal overall and would recommend to others.

Nous avons déjeuné avec un bon "Privideal", donc un menu pré établi apéritif, vin, eau et café compris.
Contrairement à l'avis précédents, nous ne sommes pas déçus de notre achat.
Une mise en bouche au gout parfumé suivi d'une entrée poisson servi sur un lit d' un flan très onctueux avec un petit gout de châtaigne très agréable. La poire de bœuf servie avec un risotto cuit et crémeux à cœur comme nous l'aimons ; 3 tranches (non pas de 1.5 mm, mais plutôt 1.5 cm, mais je ne me suis pas amusé à mesurer !) de viande cuite saignante conformément à notre demande, bien tendre, le tout accompagné de 4 sortes de petits légumes pas trop cuits, toujours à notre gout et agrémenté d'une petite sauce très gouteuse. Le dessert gourmand quant à lui était très bon. Bien que je n'avais plus faim, je l'ai apprécié et donc mangé en totalité. Je sais, c'est de la gourmandise pure...Un plus, leur café expresso est corsé et bon.
Ce ne sera pas notre dernier passage à l'Imaginaire, nous reviendrons.

The food was well above average, the portions filling, the prices reasonable. The restaurant is very cute inside and the waitress very polite. Only downside, the service was extremely slow- it took exactly one hour to bring our lunch (4 people). Reservations are strongly recommended.
