This place is a must stop everytime we are in the area. Fantastic eatery, clean, professional, the food is wonderful, no negative points, very highly recommended place, the sea food rice and the 'mariscada' is just mouth watering, will leave you with some other pics of they lovely dishes.

Restaurant Vela D'Ouro is definitely the best food location... ether fish or seafood or meat... everything best quality and very well cooked and presented.
For the ones...'WINEFREAKS' There is a vast offer among whatever Portuguese winery!

Comida boa e ambiente giro & moderno mas... necessita melhoramento:
- várias opções do menu não disponíveis
- bebidas alcoólicas não disponíveis tais como gin tónico anunciado no restaurante
- 1 único empregado a servir a mesa a um sábado ao jantar
- serviço de cozinha lento
- pouco sal e pouco condimento na generalidade
- preços ligeiramente exagerados
Contudo empregado muito simpático e atencioso. Restaurante muito giro, moderno e bem localizado.
Mexilhões frescos e deliciosos a bulhão pato.

After some disappointed meals in other restaurants on the island, Canto do Cais was recommended to us by a local habitant, and sorted out to be the best choice we could have made, so we reserved our place for 6 more evenings at the Chef's table during the rest of our holiday. Kind people, an excellent, personal service and fresh fish on the plate, accompanied by live music. A recepy for an excellent evening. We are defenitly coming back!

If you are hungry and near the location of the restaurant this is a good place to eat. Small Portuguese family restaurant with good meat to eat. We had the mix meat plate and it was great. Please note that on Sunday's they are opened till 14:30

Clever and healthy food creations in a very well designed hotel, reservation is mandatory and also an open mind, food wise. This place is hotel guest oriented, so expect some minor issues if not staying in. Will try to return and stay for a couple of nights, although the uber prices.

The bar is right on the beach, with great food and an incredible variety of drinks. The staff is very friendly and the DJ plays all the right music. The Dali Bar is definitely a good time and a great place to relax with friends. ..

We had one soup each and a dish of prawn as starters. The soup was good (first night we arrived was chilly so it was nice to have the soup); the prawn was good too but nothing special.
Main course was a dish of baby cuttlefish and a dish of octopus, both were well prepared and tasty.
It was value for money compared with the rest of the restaurants in town.
