I have visited this restaurant a few times for lunch. They have a nice Chinese buffet with additionally a few sushi choices. Salmon sushi is yummy, Chinese dishes are tasty and the buffet is less than 9 euros including water to drink. Especially the staff is always very friendly and smiling, a big plus to them!

I have eaten here many times, both the lunch buffet and steaks. This is a pay-upfront place there you order from the counter, like so many restaurants in Finland. It's a former railway station restaurant no living a new life under new ownership, and attracting a lot of customers especially during lunchtime.
Lunch buffet has many salad choices as well as soup, and a couple of warm dishes. Food has been consistently good quality.

A bit hard to find if you park at Hämeenkatu-street, in the inner yard of this tiny mall, behind the pharmacy.
A real Indian chef makes savoyry meals. And thank God for the real China at the table, none of those steel trays that plaque the cheaper indian restaurants . Visited the plase a half a dozen times both in the evening and for lunch and the quality is consistent. Not expensive: so price/quality is good.
Four points overall would be slightly too much, but food is better than averege "finnish-indian" = 3,5!
I think best ethnic restaurant in a 30 km radius.

than most chinese in Finland. Having visited China more than once I can say that here the tastes are quite like over there. The interior is very modest, and prices cheap, so it´s not a fine dining experience. Quick and friendly service.
Exellent palce to have a quick lunch too. Take away possibility.

Lunch time was almost over when we visited Laurell's Café in the center of Riihimäki. However, there were still fresh salad enough for three, to which we added a soft cake and coffee. Before we left we bought some confectioner's delicacies to go. For instance the "Competition Bun" (Kisapulla) that won the establishment a second prize in the national baker's competition, 2014.

Visited this stylish little art cafe for afternoon coffee with a business colleague. This is one of those non-chain cafes with a distinctive style that stands out. It is situated by the Riihimäki market square, so if you approach their street address at Hämeenkatu you will have to walk one block from Hämeenkatu along the pedestrian street Kauppakuja.
The specialty are the tasty cakes and chocolate brownies.Mine was served with Italian ice cream, and the combination was one of the best I've ever had.
They also arrange different art productions here, art Exhibitions, little Concerts etc.
There's also a Terrace overlooking the marketplace.

We tested their Tacos and Burritos, both were tasty and decently priced. The place itself is quite worn out, and staff were little bit confused. They example came 2 times to ask our drink and food orders etc. But overall i could recommend this place.

The restaurant is very drab and dated and a little shabby but there is nowhere else to go really when you come in late. The food was served hot and was very tasty. I had pork schnitzel the first night with fries and the US burger with bacon and onion rings also with fries. Couldn't fault it but would like to see a bit of a refresh on the decorations.

You will find Martina restaurants in many cities in Finland. In Riihimäki they don't have a special lunch list, so lunch time it is mostly business customers. I have brought here foreign and international guests, as it is quiet and you'll get quality steaks and salads here.
Service is not very fast, but is very friendly, and experienced with foreign guests too.
Prices: 12€-30€, a good salad buffet included.
