ate lunch at the dorfalm. Cozy and friendly atmosphere but quite expensive - especially since it's not even on the ski tracks but in the village itself. Food was good tho.Sehr geehrter Herr Pascal vielen Dank für ihr Feedback.

Right near the bottom of the lifts Hexenalm has a prime spot with plenty of space. The menu comes in German and English so it's a definite plus for those non German speakers.
The food and drink are the usual you'd expect in a big place like that, fairly standard.
Plus point for good organization when ordering just a bit tedious to have to find the same waiter again when wanting to pay.

When we arrive in Ladis for a week of skiing, this is always our first stop. The Pizza's are nice enough and the service is friendly. I think the value for money is good and for kids this place is a great venue.

6-course menu accompanied by a good choice of wines will truly make your stay unforgetable.
We really enjoyed the service in this restaurant, very friendly, very proffesional. A lot of attention to kids too! Nothing was a problem if we wanted to change something. Special thanks to the whole Slovakian team of waiters! ;-)
Would definitely come back again!

We had both the same dish, however with different 'toppings'. Green salad with Smoked Salmon and a oven-baked potato with sour cream. Mine came with grilled chicken breast instead of Salmon. We first ate here in 2009 as part of the hotel Aster's half-pension. The food was good, but, regretably, we did not get a chance to try out the full menu. Since then, the restaurant has focused on steaks, but offers a broad range of other traditional meals as well. This year we ate there twice a la carte. The barbary duck breasts were large with a spicy, crisp skin and, as ordered, medium rare. Delicious. On the second night, I could not resist trying the Rib Eye special, 350 to 450 grams. I was not disappointed. My steak was served medium rare, and the meat was wonderfully marbled. (Tip: age the beef a bit longer and you will be on par with the best steak houses.) Our side orders were tasty: green beans (enough for two persons), french fries, country fries. Our friends also were highly satisfied with their cordon bleu and schnitzel dishes. The atmosphere is quite nice -- rustic. The service is unobtrusive but competent, and the food came promptly without feeling rushed. Special requests were honored, and the waiter split the tab for us at the end. Don't miss the apricot dumplings (Marillenknödel) for dessert!

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.

Dolce Vita is always crowded in season, with good reason, and so Reservations are essential. We ate there twice and always had a good meal. The pizzas are large and good value for money. The central location is convenient. Prosecco is available by the glass. The diavolo pizza is excellent - packed with pickled and roasted green and red chillies and spicy salami. You can ask for extra Tabasco to get your eyes watering.
The service is fast and efficient. The staff seem to take pride in their work - when we passed in the afternoon one of the team was meticulously polishing the windows (always a sign of good standards of cleanliness). I recommend it.

The Bonderosa serves delicious food. All four of us loved our meals. I had a tender and juicy rib-eye steak, my son a hunk of local pork with spicy sambal, my daughter a succulent rack of ribs and my wife the chilli bowl, which was enormous.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Whilst the decor is a little cheesy with its cowboys and Incas theme, the food was great. The wine list was comprehensive. Bookings seem essential in the ski season, however.

Friendly hotel with a large restaurant which is open to non residents. We ate here on two occasions and the food and service were good. Typical Tyrolean menu so not much which wasn't available at most other restaurants. Located in the middle of town it is a three minute walk from the station.
