My first test in many restaurants starts with ordering a manhattan. For me this sets the stage. The one served was perfect and served in a real manhattan glass, not usually found anywhere. Wife had a good pisco sour. Owners came over and introduced themselves; husband is the chef and wife is the hostess. Really nice people and he speaks English, German and Spanish.
Wife had ostrich which she was hesitant about but truly enjoyed it and I had goulash which was served with spaetzle in true German fashion. Goulash was tender with the right amount of seasoning to make it reminiscent of European style cuisine. Finished off with apple strudel and espresso and was ready for a nap. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Give this place a chance to prove that there is great food in Chile other than the usual stuff.

When our group from Mendoza, Argentina and Vermont, USA got together in Renaca, Chile (to enjoy both Renaca's long & wide beach and Valparaiso a short distance away), one member had a craving for Sushi. While Renaca has a take out Sushi down the street, we went to Sushi Home.
The restaurant was packed, the sushi was good (including local Chilean Salmon), and the Pisco Sour was supreme, right down to the lite, suspended foam!
When we return to Valparaiso, and if we stay in Renaca, we'll be sure to eat at Sushi Home!

I highly recommend this excellent restaurant! The service is prompt and efficient! Carlos spoke perfect English was very nice as I was struggling with my small amount of Spanish. I visited this restaurant 5 times as it was an easy walk from the Hotel Monte Carlo, although I never received the 10 % discount advertised in the Monte Carlo elevator. Probably my fault for not making it clear! This minor thing took nothing away from the excellent experience. The pizza comes out quickly-hot and fresh! The crust is thin and crisp-delightful! Try the chorizo or the seafood toppings! The tapas, especially the shrimp with garlic were incredible!

A large selection of empanadas, pizzas, lasagnas. All empanadas can be ordered either baked or fried, which is not the case with a lot of other places. The lineup outside the place in summer shows that others agree that it's a great option.

The place is not beautiful but it is welcoming, the food is decent and the service is great, with Pedro the owner being very much on top of things. On holidays and long weekends the overall level tends to drop and so I usually avoid it then. Otherwise, service is great, food is above average for Concón and the price is right. Well worth a visit.

This was recommended by the Concierge at our hotel and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and service was outstanding - they were quite friendly and helpful, especially with the menu in Spanish.
The decor is a bit home-style like...hard to describe. It was within easy walking distance from the town and nearby hotels.
The best peruano pisco sours in all of Chile that we tasted!

Nice restaurant a slight bit outside the village, but on the other had with sufficient amount of parkings. Anyhow, what's the most interesting and impressive thing is the view from the restaurant itself! The service was fine, and the food was great and the price in the upper scale when it comes to prices in Chile. However if it doesn't bother to spend 10 USD more than normally it's for sure worth a visit.

I went because sister kept saying how great they pulled pork Sandwich was, and she wasn't lying. The thing was juicy and really tasty. I also try the Niçoise salad and was awesome. Their desserts are great. They make natural juices and we try them and were delicious. Must try.
Exquisito este restaurante, los sándwiches estas deliciosos y las ensaladas también. Prueba el postre de cheesecake. Los jugos están ricos.

Excellent overall experience. Received more food than expected and for a decent price. Renaca is a little bit touristy, but you don't get the feeling that you're getting gouged. Fish was excellent, fries were above average and the sauces that I had were excellent. One of the main guys who works there is from the States, so its a huge advantage for all of our English speaking friends.
Will be sure to visit the next time I'm up that way!

This place is always full and has a wait because their empanadas are great. A lot of seafood options and the serving is big. I like to buy empanadas and take the to the beach to eat them. Will recommend to try.
