One of the best curry fish heads we have tasted, the fish meat was very smooth and soft yet firm especially the parts around the eye and cheek. The curry has a lot of flavour but not overly spicy and goes well with plain white rice. The portion is substantial enough for 2 to share over lunch, but at RM57 it is still considered to be quite expensive by the locals. The fried chicken was very good too, crispy outside and tender inside. A popular dish during lunch seems to be Nasi Briyani, judging from the number of people eating.
We also had Roti and Thosai for breakfast here, a popular eatery for casual dinng throughtout the day in Raub.

We did not order anything that is lavish but just simple food to eat. It was based on normal local Chinese cooking, price depends on what you order....normally fish seafood would be expensive. Veggie, chicken & egg dishes are reasonable. Not many Chinese restaurants around and give it a try

This outlet is great for its ambience, the better one is at the outdoors Seating where you can have some panoramic view of Raub down below. You see, this restaurant is located almost at the top of a small hill, behind the Raub wet market. Besides this, nothing special is worth mentioning about the food & service. Well, the staff need to improve their services.

Clean, fast service, great tasty food and reasonably priced. Open 9 am to 7pm daily except during Ramadan where they close the whole month.

First of all I did not believe everything from YouTube promoting Ah Ming char kuey Teow. But it totally changed my perception after had it for my dinner. Instead of using normal gas stove or charcoal, the owner (Ah Ming) used kerosene to cook. The char kuey teow is smooth and moist, but still full with aroma at it's best whichever needed for a top class char kuey teow. High recommended for everyone !
