We bought haystacks (which they called coconut in chocolate) and they were delish. Even though the place was packed, we went back for seconds. Lots a great treats.Thank you for your review. Based on a cab driver's suggestion, my wife and I ate here. Their menu was nothing special. The place was a clean restaurant, and the server was very nice. But they could be better with their menu. We ended up ordering two sandwiches, which were thin and not filling at all. I don't know how they expected people to get full from thin sandwiches that are overpriced. Since we thought the place was known for its crepes, we tried their Nutella crepe. It was just okay, nothing that we would rave about. We were not really happy after our meal. After we got back to Sandusky, we ended up having another meal (two hours later).

Village Bakery is the best place for coffee, made from scratch muffins and pastries, real salads, delicious sandwiches and home made soups. Owners are super nice and always ready for help! During summer season you can find gluten free muffins. Coffee is the best in all village!

After reading the reviews, we knew this was the place we wanted to eat breakfast at. Julie was our waitress and she was great. Even after it started filling up and getting busier she was still coming around to check on us. The reviews do not lie! The food was great! It's a very quaint little restaurant, and we loved it. We felt that the prices were reasonable. The menu had a lot of variety to choose from. We'll return again next visit!

Basil mojito highly recommended. Rueben balls were good. Salads were fresh and good. Perch tacos pretty good. Might prefer just the perch dinner. Everything here is really good.

We ate at this bar one evening. The food was very tasty. The shepherds pie was especially good and large enough to share. The cheeseburger chowder was also very good. Prices are a bit high but then prices on the island are high everywhere

Although we frequently visit PIB and the island, we have never stopped here until this trip. we were pleasantly surprised! the atmosphere was great- good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. great service and great food. the calamari was so yummy! the summer salad was delicious but pricey when you add protein. will definitely go back!

Went to Blu Luna twice while on vacation in PIB. First time was for drinks and an app, first thing i noticed is they have a large selection of high end Vodkas, which was very nice, lunch apps were just ok, but good enough to want to try their full menu at dinner. Got the bogo pasta, huge portion and very flavorful, loved it. My companion got the ala Vodka pasta, special order with sauce on the side and pasta buttered, she really enjoyed it. Very quick service, and our server Kayla was very accommodating, polite and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more!

We stopped here for coffee and ended up staying for breakfast. Really good breakfast. French toast was good. Bacon was really good. Bagel sandwich is huge!! Wrap was delicious. Fun to watch boats come in and out.

At midday on a family trip to the PIB we ate a Monday lunch at this place, four adults, one child. Very nice outdoor seating over looking Lake Erie though the menu could make some cringe with its pretty expensive items without that many real options. Step son ordered a plain burger $11.00; daughter opted for a chicken wrap $14.00; the wife got lobster roll sandwich with chips and slaw $24.00 which I knew to share so I got Caesar side salad $6.50. The grandson corn dog and fries rounded out our meal. Tab was $83.00 with one beer and one bar drink which was okay I guess, but the waitresses attitude made it very obvious she wished she was someplace else, not having to demean herself waiting tables. Not at all accommodating and nearly outright rude. If you have a loaded wallet this could be alright, but there are no doubt better values with equally good fare elsewhere in town.
