Innovation working together with local and seasonal ingredients, passion in every dish followed by the most traditional combination of local identity.
This little and cosy vegetarian restaurant is one of the places you should visit if you are in Puerto de Sagunto or around.
My special recommendation: The daily fix price menu, served in the lunch time, incredible value for money.
Other good things to highlight are the puddings and the wine menu.

Right on the Promenade of the beach at the port of Sagunto, we were hesitant at first; 'Chinese' in Spain for lunch? We checked the lunch menu; the price - €9.95; nodded at each other and entered.
Spacious with a modern décor; no green/gold dragons and red lanterns. This is no WOK shop. Table was spacious; more guests continued to drift in. The wife's white wine was perfectly adequate, and I got a premium San Miguel beer (the black label) included in the price. My won tons were crunchy without being the tooth-breakers of cheapie Chinese spots. And my wife had a stunner of a starter - sushi freshly made by the chef right in front of us; none of this super-chilled restaurant-supplier nonsense.
Main courses were darn fine noodle dishes with delicate sauces and a sesame oil flavouring.
Can't really think how to get something better for lunch for < €10.

The restaurant offers 3 menus at 20 Euros per person, 1/4 bottle of wine included.
While these will fill you up, the quality matches the price.
Nothing is really bad, but nothing is outstandingly good either.
Service was great, but only Spanish speaking, the wine was quite nice.
Still, in our opinion, the restaurant's TA rating is much too high.

We have been eating at Negresca a couple of times and it was Delicious the food was fresh and of excelent quality.
The atmosphere is modern and relaxed and what is most importat for us is that it was so neat and clean.
The Staf was very friendly and did their utmost to give us a welcome and happy feeling.
I realy can recommend to go there and i am sure you will enjoy just as we did.
Thanks for the excelent food and service, we will be back when we visit Valencia again.

Excellent little restaurant tucked away in quiet village the service was really good as the waitress explained the dishes in detail to us. The food was excellent interesting local dishes, I can only recommend the El Gat Negre for a visit and it's very reasonably priced

We saw this on out first walk when we arrived mid afternoon to Puerto de Sagunto.
Found it a little difficult as the menu's were in Spanish and we struggled to understand the menu. My partner speaks a little Italian and she struggled to translate the menu.
There were no English speaking staff.
We managed well though and had a superb meal and looking at what others ordered the food was excellent all round.

I have never been in such a great restaurant as it is. The thing I liked the most about it was its menus, each of them better than the previous. The chips served there are completely differentt the ones English people have ever tried. They are very big and coverd with "Ajoaceite" foam, a typical Spanish sauce. As for the staff, we barely had to wait to order; although the restaurant was completely full of clients, they were very quick. On the other hand, the food is carefully presented on its dishes, with a beautiful design each plate. Finally, its price is worth it compared to its quality.
I honestly recommend this restaurant to all of you who come to Sagunto in order to have a good breakfast, lunch or dinner.
