I love their "sea salt caramels", they are really wonderful. The employees are very helpful. They also have lots of choices in coffee, but have not tried any yet.
Maybe on my next trip, which will hopefully be soon.

Cracker Barrel

While we could have stopped anywhere on our way home from Dayton, Spencer and I thought we'd get down the road a bit and away from the Sunday crowds. We knew we wanted to try out this CB because it will be convenient for other trips we have planned and while CB's are usually consistent we wanted to make sure. We were greeted and seated right away by a very pleasant employee. Our server promptly arrived with coffee and to take our orders. The food was consistent with other CB's - as described in the menu, hot (or cold) and plenty of it. Seriously, Spencer's breakfast could have fed 2 people easily. We were checked on regularly even though our server had multiple tables. The bill for breakfast was ridiculously low compared to other establishments. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting Piqua for an extended period. Needing some caffeine, the in-laws took us to Winans and I must say, it was a heavenly place. The aroma of the cafe was wonderful. We sipped coffee and consumed chocolate. Can you think of a better way to celebrate Christmas with your family? Me either.
I wish you a coffee and chocolate Christmas. I guarantee you will have such a Christmas at Winans Chocolates + Coffees.

This is s great place to get a quick and easy gift for whatever reason or just for a tasty snack. The pretzel bites are the BEST, alone or with cheese (spicy is best), but the M&M sandwich cookies are also AMAZING!

service was quick and server was attentive, despite being a little overextended. wasnt a fan of the dry rub wings, as they seemed to be slightly overcooked. have a somewhat limited selection of beer too. despite its shortcomings, still a good place and service means a lot.

311 Drafthouse

Reviewed By Rose H - El Paso, Texas

We visited friends that live in Piqua, OH. We wanted to treat them to dinner out and this was their choice. The 311 Drafthouse is located in an old building, downtown Piqua. Our frinds were telling us about the days "Back When" Piqua had a real bustling, thriving downtown area. We went into the 311 and were pleasantly surprised at how much of the history the building still retained. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich ~ chicken grilled with onions, green peppers, pineapple and swiss cheese, drizzled with teriyaki sauce on a pretzel roll with homemade chips. The sandwich had chunks of chicken cooked nicely with all the other ingredients. The portion of chicken with the grilled goodies was more huge, I ate about a third of my sandwich filling so I could put the top on the sandwich! The homemade chips were so good!! My husband had a spicy Thai Chicken Sandwich, with a Greek Plank on the side. He loved his meal. He had a glass of handcrafted beer, I had a glass of wine. We were more than happy with the meal. The service was wonderful, our waitress even let my husband sample a couple of the beers before making his decision. I think this will be our choice on a return visit with our friends.

We ate here twice while attending my grandson's Band Finals and the food was good both times. However, service was better the first trip with a very attentive waitress.

Most of us had one of the lobster fest options and all were good. My granddaughter had Caesar salad both times and all of our salads were cold & fresh. The biscuits are delicious and we devoured them!

My family was disappointed that there was no coleslaw, or veggie option besides broccoli. Also, no bacon bits for baked potatoes because it was a "seafood" restaurant......seriously????

This is not just an ice cream place! They have GREAT food. Their chicken salad on homemade bread is my favorite. (Their homemade bread is CRAZY GOOD.) I also really like their pulled pork. Of course, their homemade ice cream is delicious as well with many unique flavors. (I recommend the cinnamon roll... never would have guessed it would be so good.)
