The Peace River (French: rivière de la Paix) is a 1,923 km (1,195 mi)-long river in Canada that originates in the Rocky Mountains of northern British Columbia and flows to the northeast through northern Alberta. The Peace River joins the Athabasca River in the Peace-Athabasca Delta to form the Slave River, a tributary of the Mackenzie River. The Finlay River, the main headwater of the Peace River, is regarded as the ultimate source of the Mackenzie River. The combined Finlay–Peace–Slave–Mackenzie river system is the 13th longest river system in the world.

I ordered the Chai tea as it was home made. It did not disappoint, very tasty. The homemade bread was very tasty as well. The decor and music choices added to the experience.

I had a combo. The sweet and sour ribs were not the typical ribs that are about an inch long. These were about 3-4 inches long. Ask for extra napkins, you will need them.

Been here to TJ's several times. This a terrific place if you like either Chinese food or western cuisine. The servings are plenty and always fresh and hot. Service is excellent. If you want to sit and relax and enjoy a tasty meal while in Peace River or just passing through and looking for a good restaurant, this is the place.

Small Mexican tucked away restaurant in Peace River Alberta. Food is authentic Mexican cuisine. Tastes great but very expensive...VERY!! It would be nice if they had some fresh chips and salsa for your table, like every Mexican restaurant I've been too. Like I said though, food was delicious. Ordered a margarita which was $8, in a small touristy type glass. Was not very good at all and was supposed to be Jose Cuvero Tequila, of which I couldn't taste. It tasted like they used some type of Costco type margarita mix and blended with way to much ice. Definitely not worth the $8 at all...a rip off actually. Stick with a bottle of Sol.
I wouldn't return just because of the price, which I think is way over inflated.

As a typical Canadian I have to have my coffee in the mornings. Timmie's meets the bill with their breakie sandwiches and plethora of donuts. Could be anywhere in the country and feel at home at the Tiim Horton's.

We order regularly from our home Domino's about 3600 kms. away and took a chance on this franchise. It's Good. Pizza every bit as good as down south. It was hot and fast and ready before promised. It might have been a dollar or two more than at home but clearly it's good pizza, hot when you need it.

This place reminds me of walking into the sitcom Cheers. Took me over 8 years to venture inside as I was scared the donair was like the rest of the poor interpretations I've had in western Canada but this one took me back east. Awesome donair, sauce and made to order. Fast friendly service.

I have been here again a couple of times recently... There is more on the menu than there was early on, which is nice. The service is always exemplary, and the food is very good. One thing I have noticed however, is an inconsistency in portion when you order to stay or to take out. When we ate in there was a huge portion, excellent value for money. However, when we ordered to go, most recently, there was about half the amount, despite ordering the same menu items. I am not sure if the difference was due to a different cook, or just that we were taking it to go, but it does make me a bit reluctant to order to go again... I hope they get this sorted out. the value for money just didn't seem to be there with the to go portions,,,
