Rivertowne BBQ

We stopped here on the way home from Oklahoma. The service was good, but the food only fair. I had the smoked salmon salad with pesto buttermilk dressing--weird taste. I wish I had gotten a different, tangier dressing, but that one was recommended. My husband had the sliced brisket sandwich, and said it was just OK. The restaurant does have a fun decor and atmosphere.

Save room for homemade ice cream or cobbler and pies with homemade ice cream! The homemade vanilla ice cream here was fabulous! They have a selection to choose from if vanilla ice cream doesn't suit you. They had a daily lunch special.

I eat here every week. I can eat clean from the menu when I'm in training and losing weight. Everything is fresh and I've had everything on the menu more than once. Try the ginger fish and in season the mango sticky rice is incredible.

Good place to grab lunch. Fajitas are average. Skirt steak with too much onions and peppers. Only 3 tortillas so I asked for more. Sides of guacamole, sour cream pico were small too so I asked for more. No cheese was offered either. Good service and a clean restaurant. Try it you might like it.

Hillbilly Hideout

Been in and out of this truck stop a few times (and never knew about the Hillbilly Hideout restaurant. ( I had seen the deli counter---serves boars head deli meats) until some people told me the Razorback burger was great (believe it was $7.99) . It is a hamburger topped with pulled pork and it is good. My wife and I split one as we were not extremely hungry and were glad we did as it is a pretty good sized burger. Also had onion rings which were very tasty. Good service. Will stop here again anytime I am in the area.

We eat here frequently because it's close. If we had to go out of our way we'd never go here. The food is decent but pricey for the portion size. When they first opened there was bigger portions at a cheaper price. They charged nearly $3 for 10 corn nuggets at the deli. The deli prices are insanely high!! The owners are trying to get rich off of convenience. The waitresses are friendly for the most part, a couple are rude. The ladies that work the gas station side are usually really nice. It's just sad how much they mark things up.

M&J's Smoked Meats

With M&J's we bring Memphis style bbq to our customers. Growing up in southeastern Arkansas in the shadows of Memphis I was raised around the people who did bbq the Memphis way. In todays bbq experience its hard to find the true smoked bbq in smoker pits using hardwood. With M&J's you'll receive true smoked bbq with the flavor of the knowledge I was taught growing up. We are a seasonal mobile food trailer visit our Facebook page and like and follow us to see when we are opened and where we are located.

El Puerto

Reviewed By Mary A - Altus, Arkansas, United States

I visited El Puerto to see my sister and her grown children and grandchildren. There were eight (8) of us, with an infant, 3 small children and 4 women, including myself. We were greeted, seated, orders placed and drinks brought very efficiently and with smiles. Our orders were delivered quickly and accurately and several after thought items were added easily and quickly. They were willing to bring avocado slices that were not on the menu. The food was good, fresh, prepared correctly and just the right amount, or a little more. Prices very reasonable.
