Where to Eat in Oia: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Oia is carved out of the cliffs, and visitors can see houses built for Venetian sea captains as well as the more typical "cave houses" of the villagers. You’ll find the pure white buildings with colorful roofs that are typical of Greek architecture, and you’ll probably enjoy poking around the town. But don’t breeze through in an hour—you must stay for the sunset. It’s legendary. Watch from a café, or, better yet, from a boat—you’ll be spellbound.

We went there during December 2017 after Reading TripAdvisor reviews. Lovely place- can be a little hard to find but just follow the signs posted along the way to/from Oia Castle. We had the Dorado and grilled chicken as lunch and both were lovely. At the end, the chef offered us a complementary dessert since apparently our Dorado dish was not made how it should have been ( I had no idea and it was tasty nevertheless). Such warm people and the views are pretty as well.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Oia. The food is delicious, especially the tomato fritters and mushroom risotto. They have a range of options for vegetarians and offer good cocktails. Although it seemed more organized for Lunch for the katharos beach goers or for the sunset drinking, it offered us a very enjoyable and tasty dinner with simple very well prepared food. Fair pricing, romantic venue no confusion. The wide selection of mezzes confirmed that everything was very well made. Simple but Efficient Service. Smiling staff. Well done

I checked the food menu and I discovered many little delicious "treasures"!!!! Hummus with Calamari, Cretan Macaron with mushrooms, Octopus Souvlaki were some of them! 100% Greek recipes from each corner all over Greece! It worths a try, believe me, you'll come again and again, its very addictive! Complimentary desserts from the Chef in person! Very polite and kind staff! Congrats everybody!!!

We (literally) stumbled on this welcoming little place as we strolled around the perimeter of Oia, enjoying the views of the blue Aegean far below us. We didn't intend to stay for the sunset, but between the great people-watching, cold beer, complimentary nuts, good wine and cappuccino, delicious crepes, great prices, wonderful view, relaxed atmosphere, outstanding service and lovely ambiance, what could we do? And all of this protected by the local mascot Arial the sheepdog. Fun place to spend and afternoon.

We stopped at Lolita’s for a mid-morning cappuccino. Suddenly I noticed a glass dome covering a plate of baklava. I couldn’t resist! It was a perfect blend of filo, nuts, and honey. Not overly sweet. I wish I had a piece right now!

This was a busy spot and the food was excellent tapas style. We had the octopus, lamb sausage, Santorini Salad and drinks. The only downside we felt were the space is very small, and tables very close, so couldn't really have a private conversation, and felt like we were sitting with another goup, but otherwise, if that doesn't bother you its great! Highly recommend

We had a very good meal here,one night our sons wanted pizza.so we decided to try it.Prices were reasonable for Oia,and it did have a good view of the coast.The pizzas were large,I had the pork chop which I enjoyed.My wife thought the pasta was also good but the portion a little small.The meal was €50+ for the 4 of including drinks
