The restaurant is under the creative leadership of Chef Libor Krusinsky who learned his craft after many years of apprenticeship with renowned French Chef, Jacquese Auffrayse. Libor also had valuable experiences in Bohemia and abroad. He and his team of chefs have created novel dishes based on local recipes in combination with the original Aristocratic cuisine of the Thurn-Taxis family, who lived at Chateau Mcely until 1947. I visited Podebrady and remembered this Cafe from my previous trip here. This time I decided to enjoy breakfast here and I really enjoyed it. I got eggs with bacon, toasts with ham and cheese and sausages. Have you ever gotten sausages served in a pot with hot water so that they could keep warm? If not, visit this place. Atmosphere is nice, French type of cafe, the staff is very friendly and prices more than acceptable. This place is really a good value for money. The only thing I did not like was the smoking area, which is weird. Fortunatelly one could not smell much the smoke. Cafe accepts credit cards.

The restaurant is close to the main Podebrady collonade.
They have daily lunch menu for very good price - great, tasteful food, no typical Czech "pork, dumplings and sauerkraut" but meals which other restaurants in the city do not usually offer.
Staff is also very nice.
I can warmly recommend you to eat there.

Nice restaurant , friendly staff, very good wine - chardonnay, nice place outside - especially in the nice wheather , We were there together with our smal dog and staf without any problem bring also water for the dog.

My husband and I had read a good review of the Park Cafe and it was near our hotel, so we sought it out for a late lunch. The outside tables look attractive with their big umbrellas but the tables were all full of smokers and the umbrellas were keeping this mass of smoke in the area. The service was extremely slow. My husband ordered the couscous and vegetable lunch special which was quite good, but the pizza I ordered, marguerite with cheese and basil was terrible. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience.

It started with a n "asparagus cappuccino" - an asparagus soup with a frothy head on it. And only got better from there. The only so-so thing we ate was the ice cream for desert. Nice venue, very attentive staff. I'd go back anytime.

The restaurant is located not far from the center but in a quiet location in the middle of the forest. The interior is tastefully furnished in style. Absolutly fantastic food, meat specialties, homemade dumplings, original sweet desserts such as chocolate cream with oranges... Friendly and professional staff. Also very reasonable price.

Любопытное местечко, где время словно остановилось лет 30-40 назад. Здание, судя по всему, построено при социализме, интерьеры тоже сохранились с тех времен. Компании тоже соответствующие. Пиво, впрочем, как везде в Чехии, здесь отменного качества.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The high vaulted ceilings was nice (not so claustrophic) as some. They also had a nice separate place for then non-smokers and a nice atmosphere. Our service was good. I had one of the fish items (can't remember), but it was nicely done.
