The city is situated on the spurs of the Carpathian Mountains about 30 km (19 mi) from the Czech Republic's 3rd biggest city, Ostrava. The city is noted for its hatting industry.

I had dinner at this restaurant a couple of times during my business visit. The service is prompt and the staff speak good English. Food arrived in decent time and quantity was quite good. The salmon I ordered the first night and the Chicken ordered the second night were both cooked well and tasted nice

Heipark Tošovice is the resort where you can find Hotel Heipark, Restaurant Heikalka and many attractions (bobsled track, trampolines, children playground, etc.). We also have three ski slopes, golf driving range and huge swimming area.

While visiting Heipark we tried the restaurant. There are lots of Aquariums with beautiful colorful fish all over the restaurant. But that's the only positive I'm afraid. After we got the menu I had to wait 25 minutes before the waiter asked us what do we want to order! (There were only 2 more people in the restaurant) Of course what I wanted was not available so I had to settle for a grilled chicken breast. Now the best apart: we got the the food after about 3-4 minutes! Now don't get me wrong, I like the part that the food was served fast but it only can mean one thing, frozen microwaved food! The chicken probably never even saw the grill itself. To sum it up: Great decor, terrible service and the worst food I have eaten in years!!! Stay away!!!

Nice place under the Stary Jičin castle. restaurant is in the cellar - this means there is not need any air condition :-).
Traditional czech cousine is served, meals are very tasty.
There are separated smokers and non-smokers parts, in non-smokers part, there really was no smell of smoke.
There are troubles with debit cards - time to time they are not able to accept them (becaouse of tecnical reasons).

Restourant is located on the corner near the city center and looks very nice from the outside. Interier is also very beautiful, service was nice and fast , they have big selection of meat and steaks on the menu . Only problem was that steak house has no NO SMOKING part so you cant enjoy you delicious meal without smell smokers all around you, its really pitty that you cant almost smell you own meal when they bring it to you. Make it non smoking and I will come back more often.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times and eaten in the restaurant on many occassions. The food has always been good, well presented and good value for money. I would definitely recommend it

Restaurant located in historical chateux, frequent destination of tourists.
During lunch time only menu of the day is served. No meals from dinning list are prepared. Great! You can choose from 3 meals and only one soup. Meals are small, not big enough to satisfy adult man. Soup was tasteless (just colloured water).
They do not accept bank cards.

Chata Svinec is surrounded by nature. It is situated on top of a hill called Svinec, right next to a ski slope. There are 40 seats in the restaurant, but it also has a private lounge (50 seats) for celebrations and feasts. There is free private parking right next to the building.

This restaurant promotes its-self as "divided" for smokers and non-smokers. But the non-smoker part it not separated neither by a wall nor a curtain. And air conditioning is absolutely not sufficient to air out the smoke. Be sure you come home and everyone knows you were in pub.
On the other hand, meals are very tasty and stuff is friendly.
