Its a very basic indian restaurant on the roadside but serves good indian food. Pls note that they take min 30 minutes to prepare your food so be prepared...we went during lunch time and observed tht due to its open surrounding on the roadside there is too much dust whenever a car passes by... its not pricey and the food quality is good in this small town.

We ate here today by chance as it had a view and actually the food was great. After feeling a bit poorly on the bus here today I wanted somerhing healthy and they had a good menu to choose from. I took vegetable soup with tofu and the mrs, fresh spring rolls, both were absolutely fantastic.

いわゆる「レストラン」然とした飲食店がほとんどないノンキヤウ、選択肢が少ない中で、入ったのがここでした。料理のクオリティはまあまあ。1人だと、多種類選べないので座びしいですね。

We had dinner here and a coffee break the next day. Dinner was good, I had a lao stew which was filled with nice veggies and a good amount of pork. The Western food can be a little bit more expensive, but that's because you can get steak instead of a burger. Next day I ordered an ice coffee ( which was good) and spring rolls and they were the best I had in Nong Khiaw ( out of 4 places). The lady who helped us was very sweet and they have three decks where you can sit, two with river view, so that is doesn't feel crowded when there are a lot of people.

We dropped in during the day for a desert and a few coffees. The desert (apple crumble and ice cream) was okay, but nothing special. The coffees were also pretty average. There was not much atmosphere in the cafe in the afternoon but i suspect...MoreIm sorry that you felt the need to write nothing special when you only had one dish at my place.i dont claim to be special but my coffee and food is good as so many reviews point out.thankyou for your negative review Regards harps

They were quick to take our order and they were fairly busy so we knew it might take a little longer but we waited for almost two hours for our food which is ridiculous. We were absolutely starving and weren’t offered an apology or discount or anything to keep us going. If you go then go early so you don’t get stuck like us.

We stopped in after hiking up the side of the mountain, across the street, and were welcomed by a super friendly gentleman who brought out our free shot of local whiskey, which was smooth and tasty and an ice cold bottle of water. Beer was cold and the perfect way to end the hike. It's a bit out of town, but worth the walk for a friendly atmosphere.

Good option for vegetarians but of course do not compare your indian home taste here in this small town restaurant. Having said that the food is good and not too pricey...service is good but takes 30 min minutes to prepare your food. Inform them prior if u love spicy food otherwise generally taste will be mild...good place as not too many options in nong khiaw

We went there for lunch and had a noodle soup and sticky rice for dessert. Not the best food I had in Laos but definitely the best food in Nong Kiew. They have a lot of authentic food to chose from for a great price. For 2 soups, dessert and tea we paid 50'000. Plus the view is very nice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
