I love it here, even though the restaurant is small, it is very inviting. The food is great and everyone who works here is helpful and friendly. They have the best homemade tiramisu my daughter has ever tasted(and she gets it at every Italian restaurant we have ever gone to!) Also in nice weather they have outdoor dining which is very nice!

Great offerings for ice cream toppings, servers & variety. Fun place to come & sit to rest after a hard day of walking around Newtown. A bit pricey though.

I last reviewed Guru's 2 years ago, when it was fairly new. It has become a local favorite, busy even in weeknights and the faithful appear undeterred by foul weather as well Still under the same owner/chef (Guru) who goes beyond the traditional fare found in other Indian restaurants. For example he has an appetizer known as Spinach Chat. The closest comparison in Western food would be a spinach salad done with an intensely Indian flair. It is different and it is delicious. So popular, in fact, that they often run out. He continually tries new things and you may be lucky enough to be one of his testers when a small platter 'to try" suddenly shows up in the hands of one of their excellent servers. This restaurant remains outstanding, with a consistency of food and service rarely found in Indian restaurants in the United States.

We've been hooked on Goodnoe's since we first moved to Bucks County over 30 years ago & often made the original, full-sized restaurant a regular stop. We were sad when the original place closed its doors & thrilled when Goodnoe's ice cream came back to Newtown at 4 S. Sycamore Street, this time under the skilled hands of the younger generation. While the size of the shop is tiny, the quality of the product continues to be excellent. True the product isn't cheap - but then, you get what you pay for & it is locally produced using only the freshest ingredients. Goodnoe's Farm ice cream is a real treat.

Always great food astonishing. Kids love going for rolls. Entrees and small dishes good. Recommend reservations on weekends. Always a wait if walking it. Not cheap

I'm a big cake person and have used many cake designers. I love this place. So many different flavors, all great. Cakes and cake pops are moist. The designs are amazing. And prices are reasonable.

We enjoyed everything about our dinner here. The special menu had a lot of good choices. We started with Bacon Béchamel Truffle Potato Croquettes, Lobster Bisque, and the Sexy Salad (yes, that's what it was named).
For the main courses I had the pasta with jumbo lump crab meat and cherry tomatoes. She had the Sea Bass. Everything was delicious and the service as solid on this busy night. Glad we went.

We may have found a new "go to" with the lobster ravioli at Cafe Con Leche. It's a very interesting mix of menu options from Mexican to Thai, so there really isn't a label for the style of food served here. The Thai curry sauce is nice and light, not overwhelming, and went really well with the shrimp and mushrooms on my lobster ravioli. My husband had the same ravioli in a different sauce- vodka, maybe? The place is BYOB, so that ranks it even higher on our list. We'll definitely return!

Jules is our go-to pizza place. The staff is kind and accommodating, and the service is always speedy. The selection is outstanding and pizza is always fresh. I wish the salads had more toppings because they are light on the extras, but always fresh and delicious. We enjoy the outdoor seating in the summer and the kid-friendly atmosphere.
