Traditional tavern in nea styra evoias the small village 5km from port zoodochos pigi or Reouzi... Panoramic view to sea!!! since 1953 all fresh lamb and pork from my farm all the year open...!!!

I came here based on the other reviews from this site. It's a nice alternative from the touristy fish tavernas in nea stira as we wanted meat. We tried the lamb grilled (piethakkia) and were not disappointed. One of the best places for lamb I've eaten in Greece. The side dishes were good too. If you sit outside on balcony there is an amazing view at sunset but beware of wasps outside. Service was good also. Will be going back next time we are in Evia.

Me and my family visited the place and where captured by the hospitality of the owner Nikos,the food was excellent my wife and the children enjoyed traditional home made dishes,myself went for the fresh fish and all was very good, then came when the bill everything was half the price that we are used to pay in ATHENS .I definitely recommend the place to everyone especially families. Me Nikos thank you for everything.

We parked near Styra supermarket and walked up the steep path for 10 minutes. The tables outdoor are beneath a century - old sycamore tree and from this beautiful greenery you can admire a fantastic sunset. Food is delicious and different : I had falafel...Moreευχαριστουμε πολυ.

Πάνω στο κεντρικό δρόμο του λιμανιού των Νέων Στύρων αλλά με τραπέζια και πάνω στην θάλασσα προσελκύει με τις μυρωδιές του τους παραθεριστές τηε περιοχής.
Μεγάλη ποικιλία σε αλμυρές αλλά γλυκές κρέπες με ωραίες γεύσεις.Οι τιμές καλές και το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και άμεσο!

Ανεβήκαμε μετά από χρόνια στα Άνω Στύρα για μια βόλτα στο χωριό. Τυχαία κάτσαμε σε ένα μικρό σουβλατζίδικο με το όνομα "Γιαφκα" στην πλατεία του χωριού (εύκολο να το βρεις). Ο διάκοσμος του χώρου ευφάνταστος, πεντακάθαρος, χωρίς τις χαρακτηριστικές "μυρουδιές", μοντέρνος, δεν θυμίζει σουβλατζίδικο αλλά καλό μοντέρνο εστιατόριο. Το σέρβις γρήγορο, από νεαρά άτομα που ήξεραν την δουλειά τους. Το φαγητό ήταν ευχάριστη έκπληξη. Δοκιμάστε την σαλάτα με το σπανάκι. φρεσκότατη και εξαιρετικά γευστική. Την δεύτερη φορά που πήγαμε (την ακριβώς επόμενη μέρα) δεν υπήρχε γιατί όπως μας είπαν δεν τους ικανοποιούσε η ποιότητα που ειχε το σπανάκι που βρήκαν. Η χωριάτικη πλούσια και η ντομάτα της πολύ αρωματική και χωρίς σπόρους. Πήραμε μπιφτέκι, κοτομπεικον και κεμπαπ. Το ένα καλύτερο από το άλλο. Οι πίτες μικρές, αρωματικές και αλάδωτες χωρίς να είναι στεγνές. Τα κρεατικά άψογα ψημένα χωρίς υπερβολικό αλάτι και λάδια σε άφηναν να χαρείς το άρωμα και την γεύση τους. Οι τηγανιτές πατάτες, κομμένες στο χέρι, αληθινές, τραγανές σαν σπιτικές ήταν πραγματικά τέλειες. γενικά το φαγητό τους ήταν εξαιρετικό και μας εξέπληξε ευχάριστα. Σίγουρα αξίζει τον κόπο να αφήσεις τα παραθαλάσσια Στύρα το βράδυ για να απολαύσεις τόσο προσεγμένο φαγητό. Σιγουρα θα ξαναπάω (ήδη τις 2 μέρες που έμεινα στην περιοχή και τις δυο τίμησα την κουζίνα τους). Το μόνο μειονέκτημα ότι το μαγαζί είναι μικρό και δεν έχει πολλά τραπέζια. Πηγαίνετε σχετικά νωρίς για να βρείτε κάποιο ελεύθερο. Δεν ξέρω αν κάνουν κρατήσεις

I remember that restaurant more than twenty years. It is a big tavern, by the seaside, with nice view. During the past I have visited that restaurant and I remeber that food there was flat, meat overcooked but fresh, potatoes precooked, nothing special except view. I visited it for lunch. We asked if they could make us lobster with spagetti and they did it. Salads were big enough, fresh and aromatic. Cheese nice and tastefull. They served us a local wine that was wonderfull. Lobsters were fresh but came overcooked. Spagetti was ok (not exactly "al dente" but ok) and they have added fresh vegetables in its red sause which made it more tastefull. But they have destroyed lobsters. The other stange thing was that they served two different types of lobster. Service was good. Anyway, I didnt change my opinion for the place. It is an ordinary greek tavern, nothing more than that. The best thing is the view and the free parking.

Very good and trendy restaurant.
Modern interior, friendly personel and good music.
The food is different as in "normal" Greek restaurants. More European (italian/france) oriented.
We had a very nice Risotto with fresh mushrooms and a gorgeous pizza Italia with Parmesan, bacon and rucola.
After that a very nice Panna cotta from the house

We visited Linardos for an evening meal and found that the menu was very chaotic and, when we came to order, that a number of items weren't available. Despite this, however, we were given recommendations about what to order instead, and the food was mostly very nice. The chicken souvlaki was great and there was decent wine for a cheap price as well.

Βρίσκεται σε πολύ ωραίο σημείο, το προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό και γρήγορο και ταυτόχρονα ευγενικό. Παραγγείλαμε κλαμπ σάντουιτς, απλό και με σνίτσελ κοτόπουλο και 2 αναψυκτικά. Στο τέλος μας κεράσαν παγωτό ξυλάκι. Η απόδειξη ήρθε μαζί με την παραγγελία. Να πάτε με χαρά!

If you want to taste fresh fish, this is the place to be, located almost on the beach. Everything is fresh and very well cooked. The taverna offers many other choices as well. The portions are big. The service is great, the owners are polite and friendly. The prices are low, it is a value for money case.
