Kiikuya

Thank you very much for coming to our TripAdvisor page. Our restaurant is more than 300 years old. One of the oldest restaurant in Narita city. Our specialty is grilled eel, Japanese style. The special sauce is soy sauce base, sweet and salty. We have several English speaking staffs, so please ask anything if you have questions. We hope you enjoy staying in Narita, hope you enjoy our delicious and traditional Japanese dishes!

The shopping street stores mostly close by 5pm but this restaurant remained open til 9pm. Good for those who want to grab a dinner closer to 7-8pm. The crew speak excellent english and are friendly and helpful. The unagi is the specialty and sashimi was good. Same could not be said of the tempura which I'd rate a 6/10. Nonetheless a good place to settle for a meal if you are in the vicinity.

As in any Starbucks around Greater Tokyo area, this one sticks up to the same standards; good coffee, nice ambiance, clean surroundings and expensive everything. This is Japan after all, cheap price has yet to be invented here. Grab that mug; that's the most value for money souvenir you've got, even cheaper than HK.

During the 6H layover at NRT, we took a short train ride to Narita, where we have been before many years ago. It looks much the same -- still remember well the unagi resto that has an assembly processing line in front to kill and grill unagi.
It was raining as a Typhoon Lan was about to land on the east side of Japan. We found this resto although there are reportedly two having the same name.
We really enjoyed ordering the sushi sets. I had a deluxe and she had a smaller set. As mentioned before, the cuts of fish are unusually large. So tasty.
This place is worthy for a return.

Serena

I've been visiting Serena in the Hotel Nikko for the last 15 years and have continued to see it evolve and improve. Buffets feature here for breakfast, lunch and dinner meaning that if you're short of time, there'll be no waiting involved.
I've seen updates, overhauls and refurbishments over the years with the result that the menu pleases everyone and the restaurant runs incredibly effectively and smoothly. The buffets always include Japanese and Western items. At breakfast, there is now a vitamin bar - literally jars of vitamins to choose from.
It has a great ambience. There's a beautiful view to the garden from almost every table in this restaurant. Tables can be separated or joined for family or group use.
The staff work hard to clear and reset tables as it can be a busy. I was there once when a rather large group of American Airlines passengers arrived unexpectedly due to aircraft engine problems and they managed to accommodate everyone.
During the latest visit with my family my granddaughter fell asleep at the table and after we lay her on the bench seat beside us, a waiter arrived with a blanket and placed it on her. We appreciated this gesture very much.
There is now a moving robot outside the restaurant which will amuse child guests.
I should mention that if you're a regular guest at Nikko and Okura hotels, their One Harmony loyalty card will give you substantial discounts at this and their other restaurants.

A small restaurant tucked away down small lanes a couple of minutes walk from the main tourist drag to the temple.
I had the mixed grill which consisted of two pieces of steak, a piece of pork, a spicy sausage, vegetables, a salad, rice, black beans and a condiment. I also ordered a palm heart salad and a big mug of whisky and soda.
Everything was excellent. Palmitos is one of my favourite foods and quite difficult to find outside of South America so I was over the moon to find it here and in a generous portion too. The steak, pork and sauage were all very flavousome, properly cooked and tender.

No doubt about it - the best place in Narita city to start and end your pub crawls. Inop was in the hangar for a few days with some damaged landing gear but has returned recently to demand some of the new food the JLC has. Thank Mo for that - he makes some great nachos and wings that have "character". Tried to take a picture of Mo to add to the collection, but he declined saying "you can find a picture of me in any post office". In any event, the girls are prettier and help Vincent please an always thirsty group.
Great selection of drinks available at very reasonable prices during happy hour(s). Of course, popcorn and Narita peanuts are available to consume while you watch one of many videos of aviation memorabilia or talk with the patrons who are mostly airline crew members that know where all the good places in Narita are.

Dashichazuke En, Narita Airport

Reviewed By gabykouchacji - Washington DC, District of Columbia

The Airport's managers know what kind of things you're looking for and you don’t have to go far to find them. You may have some difficulties since they don't label very many things using the English alphabet. If you can find an English speaker to assist you, it will be a really big help.
Tourists usually go for seafood flavored “ramen” soups, or ginseng tea as they may believe it's either good for the heart or helps you lose weight.
There are a lot of sweet desserts and pies to tempt you, but you'll be taking a chance on your choices since, again, there’s no explanation in English. I recommend that you take home a couple packs of “corn tea” (good for the digestion), but I'll select an assortment of Japanese rice cakes.
Bonne continuation!!! (All the Best)

Given the price and its location, this is very reasonable restaurant to eat before catching your next flight. We had the tuna sushi special and it was the perfect choice for the tuna lovers with at least 4 variety of tuna, all pretty fresh. Not a bad way to say goodbye to Japan.

This place is famous for his chili ramen . I think that also must be well identified for his excellent gyosas. I have one after the other, three plates of gyosas . Delicious perfectly done ! No doubt the best that I ever had.
Not pretentious, people come and eat and leave, the rotation of tables is high . Good beer and excellent sake as well.

Ate here while stranded by typhoon on a business trip. Staff very friendly and made a real effort with non Japanese speaking patrons. Asked about other Japanese foods, other than sushi and they gave me samples. Best experience in Japan so far and I've been coming three of four times a year since 1996.
