Náchod (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnaːxot]; German: Nachod [ˈnaːxɔt]) is a town in the Czech Republic, in the Hradec Králové Region. Náchod is located in the valley of the river Metuje, in an upland area between the mountain ranges of Krkonoše and Orlické hory. It is the seat of a district court, the office of district prosecuting attorney and a number of district chapters of other government agencies, several primary and secondary level schools, a hospital and other social facilities. Sights include a magnificent castle and other places in and around the town (Nové Město nad Metují, Ratibořice, Kuks, Trutnov, Broumov). The area offers a variety of natural sights and opportunities for outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, skiing, rock climbing in sandstone formations).

Nice place, but compare to the U Beránka, there is not such good food. But it is small and quiet place (maybe in the evening there are some parties). Enjoy small restaurant close to the main square in Nachod. Parking is available at the square starting 6 pm for free and during the weekends.

After Reading positive reviews here, we had higher expectations. The restaurant is not bad, but also not anything special. The shrimps were tasty, but the salad was just average and home made lemonade so sour that it was difficult to finish it.

I can honestly recommend this place. The sweets are amazing and they are made from good quality products, for example all ice creams are made by them from the beginning to the end (and they taste amazing!). I have tried pistachio-marzipan cake and strawberry cake (both were amazing). The decor is also really interesting ( I love these tulips on the wall).

I am going to review restaurant part only. For lunch time there is no better place than this. Quick and pleasant service and tasty czech traditional meals like dumplings, goulash, svickova etc. with great cheap prices (2.5 - 3€ per course). Standard menu selection is average but tasty still. If you need WC it is closed for public, as restaurant guest there hangs a key for you close the bar.

Delicious Italian food and pizzas and a great selection of Silesian and standard Polish cuisine in the heart of Kudowa-Zdrój. Also, in the summer, Cafe Domek serves wonderful ice creams fit for the warm evenings. Great prices, great value. The staff is fantastic and super helpful too. Well recommended!

The menu isn't long but it's worth to choose something from because all dishes are freshly made and they do a special orders (i choosen a diffrenet pasta and my partner asked about a pizza without veggies, but with more beacon). Food was tasty and waitress polite, not bad surrounding but they got a small car parking. We ate a quick lunch here and sat a bit after enjoying summer weather and free wi fi.
Niezbyt wielki wybór potraw z menu rekompensuje możliwość zamówień specjalnych (ja poprosiłam o inny rodzaj makaronu, a mój partner o pizzę bez warzyw, ale z podwójną porcją boczku). Jedzenie świeże, szybka, grzeczna obsługa oraz darmowy internet bezzprzewodowy są zdecydowanie godne polecenia.

Me and my boyfriend went for a holiday to see something different. We went to this restaurant and the guy who owns this place was very pleasant and nice. We went there for lunch every day and for dinner too. The food was delicious and filling. I was amazed how reasonable prices this gentlement had. We are going next year to see this place again just because this gentlement Frantisek Berka offered us a lovely room in his restaurant.

One of the few great restaurants I have visited so far. The food is very good, cooked to perfection. One of the Best żurek soups i have ever had. Flawless service - extremely kind, well trained and professional, you would expect that from a 5 star restaurant in a big city, not from a small town place. Congratulations.
Note that unfortunately sometimes they can be closed-booked for private dinner party - we were lucky to arrive just when it finished. It is worth calling them before arrival as they are not in very central location.
