This is a small, quaint roadside restaurant that if you did not know better you would pass right by. But do yourself a favor if you are ever in the area and stop in. The food is delicious and the desserts even better. You won't be disappointed.

Have been here many times with no complaint; but last visit was disappointing. The service was not as good because attention was focused on "friends" of staff rather than other customers.
Also, health violations were everywhere from waitstaff drinking their personal drinks at the counter and cook coming in and out of kitchen with gloves ON and touching doorways, etc.

There's a reason this place is usually empty and it's because the food is horrible and expensive for what you get. I travel all over the USA and this was just disappointing. I love Mexican food but most places have much better food, bigger servings and are half the price. I know quite a few people who only ate here once and said the same thing I did.

Travelling from the UK from Washington to New Orleans in a borrowed pick up truck.Love this little locals bar and was made to feel very welcome, not pretentious at all. Burgers were good too and very good value for money - 2 for dinner was $25. These are the sort of places you must go to see real America.

The Sunset is the freshest local eatery in town. The remodeling has resulted in a very comfortable place to eat. Great coffee. Very good breakfast. I asked for crispy bacon and got exactly what I wanted. Very good service. Will return here often on my next trip to town.

The Peking Restaurant offers a buffet at both lunch and dinner. My comments relate solely to that; conceivably dishes selected from the menu might have created a better impression.

The buffet is extensive and a hungry dinner can eat to his heart's content. Sadly, the food isn't particularly good, even by the standards of US Chinese restaurants. In part that can be attributed to the nature of buffets: invariably after sitting around for hours, food loses its freshness and tends to be barely lukewarm. A wide sampling of dishes revealed some common threads: an excess of fried foods; a heavy reliance on thick, pasty sauces; and the cloying use of sugar in many of the offerings.

The restaurant itself is generally tidy and service is reasonably attentive. It attracts a fair amount of business by virtue of the all-can-eat option, but it's not a place I would consider returning to.

We were travelling thru and stopped in for lunch. There was no wait and we were promptly served our drinks. They had lots of variety to choose from on their buffet: salads, fruits, soups, hot meats and veges, baked potato bar, taco bar, desserts and ice cream. You can also order off the menu but lots to eat just on the buffet. Service was good as well.

Sheetz has great food prices and overall the food is pretty good for fast food/gas station food. But the service is pretty slow. Stopped and got two ham sandwiches as we were driving back to VA. Sandwiches were fresh and the full of meat and condiments. Good sandwiches. The French fries were cold and they forgot the ketchup. Can't beat the prices. Rest rooms were clean.

Stopped here when first choice was closed. Spacious, family-style feel with large dining area of tables and booths and a separate gaming area. Waitress' first question was "Where are you from?" . She was very gracious and obviously wanted us to feel at home. I chose the 21 fried shrimp and the baby baked potatoes from an extensive menu that as the name says, includes pizza - which she offered as being really good. Drinks were served quickly, and food was brought in good time. Salad included crackers. Quality and quantity of food was excellent and a request for tartar sauce was immediately produced. Not knowing what to expect when we entered, we left feeling satisfied with the food, prices, selection and friendliness and would not hesitate to eat there again or recommend to others.

Everything else fails in comparison to the delicious hand made pizza from scratch on the menu. If you go stick to pizza, everthing else is just mediocre.
