This has fast become our favourite restaurant in Mojacar. The happy friendly team deliver great service, the food is fabulous and that’s just the menu del dia which is also fantastic value. In warm weather there is a smoking Terrace where you can sit and eat and both the Terrace and the main restaurant have lovely views of the beach and the sea!
Highly recommended this restaurant and will be going back again and again!

Hidden away up a side street off the main Paseo but well worth seeking out. We called in for drinks early one evening and went back twice more for dinner. The decor and ambience are very good and the staff are efficient and friendly. There is an extensive a la carte menu but also a three course fixed price menu for 12 euros. We tried both. The fixed price menu is excellent with a wide range of choices for each course and the quality could not be faulted on both our visits. Our total bill including pre dinner drinks, a bottle of very drinkable house wine and the bread and alioli came to around £40 on current exchange rates. How good is that??
The only small criticism is that the mains and desserts came too quickly after the starters so no time to linger.

Wonderful restaurant in the hills overlooking Mojacar, Sunday lunch was exceptional
Choice of 7/8 starters, then Roast Beef / Lamb / Pork or a fish dish, served with fresh veg, roasties and Yorkies, followed by selection of Deserts and coffee.
Staff were superb and looked after us, food quality was excellent, chef even came out to chat with us and was very proud of his food quality - just faultless.
I will be returning and happy to recommend this superb restaurant.
Well done to the team, superb !!

Having tried and enjoyed the other value oriented restaurants in Mojácar . It’s good to know that quality food and menu, good service and a homely atmosphere is alive and kicking at osteria - midway between Mojácar playa and pueblo
Do make the effort to go here you will not be disappointed
This is not a formulaic Mojácar tourist restaurant !!

Just received some great news! Mountains of The Moon are opening their new restaurant on Friday 23rd March.
We are so pleased to see Mountains of the Moon re-opening as its been a long winter without their fantastic curries. Can't wait to check out the new place and savour the flavours of Naresh's fantastic food again.
The new restaurant is at 237 Paseo Mediterraneo, In the Indalo Centre next to Foster Holywood.

Lovely Tapas in a lovely setting. Visited Captains again when we were in the area, lovely choice of tapas tried 5 and they were all really good, the owner/ waiter was really nice without being intrusive. We have visited before and will definitely visit again when back in September.

Our second time dining at Estancia and lived up to our expectations. We vacationed in Mojacar 2 years ago and remembered this wonderful restaurant. This time we made sure to book Reservations early during our stay. Steaks were perfect, meal delicious... we will be back!!

12 months already since our holiday in Mojacar, and albeit late reviewing, definitely haven't forgotten this gem of a place. Stayed at the Hotel Best Indalo and this great gelateria is only 100 yards away. Visited twice during our weeks stay and had brilliant experience on both occasions. Amazing menu and something for everyone. I'm not one for taking photos of what I eat but couldn't resist here. Prices are very reasonable and situated right across from the beach with great relaxing views. If in Mojacar you should definitely treat yourself here.

We have ordered flaming calamari and Kofta. Both dishes were very tasty. All ingredients were fresh and spices were chosen very wisely. The best sangria we have drink in more than a week that we visit Mojacar. A suprise that we know from Greece was beer in frozen glass. A big bravo for the attention to details!
