We stayed at Sferas and had a meal at 1877. Warm friendly greeting and service. Not huge pasta eaters but both of us enjoyed a delicious meal of the best tasting pasta ever and the serve was just the right size, not mounded high which places often do with these dishes. If we lived there we would return often.

Visited for breakfast with a group of friends the staff was lovely and very welcoming. The menu is a little limited but the dishes they do offer are completely delicious! We also indulged in some of their Deserts, which like their breakfast dishes, was completely amazing! The menu does change with the seasons since they use local produce in their dishes. The cafe is right next door to a plant nursery so after a fantastic meal you can stroll through their lush garden and spend a little time relaxing and digesting your meal.

I dined with 2 friends recently and we had a wonderful evening. Comfortable setting, although air con was very cold and we asked to have it turned down as very cold. (seated under the vent) Excellent setting, attentive staff, prompt service. We were disappointed in the food especially the Biryani which was stodgy. Naan bread was delicious. Pricing was very good.

We had dinner here on a Friday night. The place was very inviting and modern looking and had a very vibrant vibe. I had the salt and pepper squid which was delicious, lightly fried, great flavor and very well cooked, nice and tender, it had a few veggies and mixed herbs and spices thrown in..but could have done with a side of tartare sauce.
My friends had crispy beef which they raved about and the Rendang curry was also very good. We scoffed down our food and were very satisfied indeed..I will also mention that the staff were very helpful and friendly..it was very busy and we did wait about 30 or 40 minutes before ordering but the food was well worth the wait.

We are regular customers at this restaurant, and the friendly staff (Sammy!) treat us well. As I have mentioned previously, this is a good place for an extensive buffet lunch or dinner at a reasonable price. But what about Christmas? We find that a number of our eating places hike their rates at Christmas. On arrival today we find the Restaurant carpark is full. If you are tempted to use the hotel carpark next door you may get told off! But there is a quiet street opposite, and we park there. The restaurant is busy, with several Christmas groups, but we find a table quite easily. The buffet appears unchanged for Christmas – still good! – and we are pleased that the price is also unchanged. As I have said before, for a Chinese restaurant, this place has an amazingly good dessert selection! It is a pleasure to visit again.

This is s very busy hotel, the servers work hard to ensure flow and we felt the wait time was reasonable given the amount of customers. The food was hot and tasty and the salad and veggies bar adequate. The fellow playing guitar was good but we could not hear well from the dining room because of the noise generated by the crowd.

Bought a takeaway pizza here in April last year and it was fabulous. Returned to South Australia for work this week and visited Modbury Pizza Bar once again. The original owner was behind the counter, but the pizza was just a good as I remembered it. Mexican pizza with mushrooms. Paid a little more than last year. $10.95 versus $6.95 but was equally as tasty. Outside appearance nothing special, but the pizza's are. Would happy visit again when next in Modbury for work.

We have been here a few times. Great food, always tastes fresh with the vegetables still crunchy. Generous servings and prices are a little more compared to other Asian restaurants but, because the dishes were great, it's worth the few extra dollars. Good service and the staff are very friendly.
