I had dinner at Nonki in Jpark with a very special friend and I LOVED IT. He actually went there many times already then he invited me. Their sushi is very fresh, sashimi is excellent and I could not forget the taste of their wasabi, IT'S SUPER!!! They have the best wasabi that would make you stamp your feet and burn your head. It's the best feeling when you mix a lot of wasabi to your sauce. Strong wasabi means superb quality. Their potato salad is also very delicious. Nonki is the place to go for Japanese food addicts.

Our decision to include breakfast in our 3-day stay package was a very good one as Cafe Marco did not disappoint. I never thought I would miss danggit and daing na pusit so much especially when their version was most thin and crispy. It was perfect with garlic fried rice and eggs which they cook according to preference. The staff were so accommodating and courteous - never missing a beat despite the morning crowd especially by 8am. I also enjoyed their selection of healthy drinks. Not the sugary juice kind but their cucumber and ginger infused water which was very good.

Honestly, I just drink earl grey hot chocolate here because serving is big. They use big size mug. It cost 150 pesos. I'd rather drink this than coffee. They have free filtered water. Hehe. They have newspaper and magazine for you to read. Cakes are also good like my all time fave Black Forest. They close every Monday only, whole day. Until 10 or 11pm. That's it.
They have 4 parking slots. But you can park across the street.

What attracted me most about 10 Dove Street at Oakridge is the ambiance. The place is so relaxing for post-dinner sweet cravings. Much as I wanted to eat sweets, I decided to pick a healthier alternative and sadly, they only offered the Mango sago as the healthier choice. Everything here is sweet and sinful. My friend got the molten lava and she said it was delicious. The outdoor dining is really nice on summer evenings although the construction nearby kinda killed the peaceful atmosphere.

I have never been satisfied with this restaurant. Visited this place 3 times hoping that the food quality will improve, but it just gets worse. Food choices on weekdays are not worth your 800+. Viking buffet which is 5 minutes away from this place is waaaay better. And their both within the same price range.
What I really hate the most is their grill station. I can grill better than these people. Everytime I visit, they always grill our food til it's charred and black. Again, go somewhere else!

Ramen Yushoken

Reviewed By Mika L - Bacolod, Philippines

I was in Cebu for the weekend and was craving ramen. A friend of mine suggested I try this resto.
Since I like my noodles firm, i opted for their tsukumen (dipping noodles). I wanted gyoza and several other sides but wasn't that hungry so I decided to focus on the ramen.
I LOVED the broth. It's thick and rich and oh so very flavorful. The noodles were a bit thicker than I prefer - almost like udon - But the chewiness/texture and the way the soup clung to the noodles were perfect.
Definitely coming back next time if I have a chance. The staff were also very friendly and offered to store my luggage on the side while I dined.
