Italian-themed restaurant across the boardwalk from the water with an excellent view in a quiet part of Mahahual (south of the more crowded part). They have a mixed seafood special for a minimum of two people that is terrific and reasonably priced. And their pina coladas are excellent too. My wife and I recommend it highly.

We had a great dinner, arriving late in Mahahual. A feeling of end of the world, just the noise of the wind and the sea... The owners, a couple, are simple and very welcoming. Feels like home. And the kitchen is like home! Fish from the oven, everything is fresh. The set up is also very nice, tables with tiles, soft lights... A great time!

We offer comfortable inside dining as well as tables in the sand, just a few steps from the beautiful clear Caribbean waters. Best food and conversation in town!

I echo many of the other reviews. Steve reserved Seating for our group so we didn't have to worry about available chairs. One the webpage, he provides detailed instructions on how to get to his place, replete with warnings about how the shuttle driver will try to get you to go somewhere else (and they did!) ;Someone met us at the shuttle and took us to the beach. Food was great, beach was great. Highly recommended!

We stopped at Nacional Beach Club after arriving at Mahahula from our holiday cruise. I decided to enter the restaurant an order some food and drinks. As I order our food and drinks, I was informed that there was a $130 dollars fee per person, which it was ridiculous. We walked a few steps next door, we found a place with no fee per person, had beach chairs, tables, hammocks and good service.

As everyone says, you have to try the stuffed pineapple. It's really an amazing dish. The nachos are pretty good too. We arrived around 2pm and service was very slow, although everything is prepared fresh. Their 'Plato de Ninos' is grilled chicken breast with choice of side dish (next time I'd ask for it without the coleslaw - which is good but watery and made the fries soggy). Meal for 4 people was 450 pesos. Very reasonable prices and great breeze from the ocean. It's about 5km south of the main strip in Mahahual and inaccurately mapped on Tripadvisor. Take a taxi for sure (max 60 pesos).

We decided to have dinner at 40 Cannons Restaurant. The menu is quite limited and fairly expensive having had dinner at the majority Restaurants that are open for dinner in Mahahual.
My partner had the Seafood medley, prawns, fish and octopus VERY small portions this was accompanied by plain boiled rice, served in a small China bowl, about a tablespoon cooked. I had salad, which was a decent sized portion with chicken. The flavours were average, nothing to write home about. When the bill came the waiter was really pushy about the tip, the paper was circled in pen and he kept pointing. We did leave a cash tip. There are much better Restaurants open for dinner in the evening in Mahahual.

Recently, my partner and I went to Yaya Beach for a day pass when we were in port on a cruise. It was a lot of fun and an amazing good time. Sergi was our attendant and was there with anything we needed. The food was great!! We had a terrific time.

The locals told us to go to this Little restaurant. All the seafood arrives every morning, it´s owned by the association of fishermen from Mahahual. Fish is fresh and the Cocktel de camaron is really good and has a lot of shrimps, not only vegetables and kétchup like others.
