We had two evening meals in the Brandin' Iron Restaurant. The restaurant was divided into two rooms: smoking and non smoking. Laminated tables and no frills. For our first meal one of us had chicken fried chicken served with mashed potato and soggy, frozen beans and corn this was served with a nice side salad. The other one had salmon steak smothered in a tasteless yellow sauce, an equally tasteless side of rice and frozen beans and corn. A large doughy bread roll was served with whipped butter. For our second meal we both decided to have the chicken as it seemed to be the safest option, again with mash and frozen vegetables. The staff were friendly and
helpful and the service was prompt. Considering it's the only option what else can you do?

This little restaurant is ran and operated by two retired military men; one is as cute as can be, paunchy and can be kind of dour and he is the order taker, cashier, server, etc., the other is taller, handsome and quiet with a quiet smile when amused! This gentleman is a cook, They work well together.
While the menu isn't the largest that most of you will have read, what is on it is always yummy and plenty of it! The quality of the food is excellent, timely in preparation and served up hot if the sandwich/shrimp is served that way; the cold sandwiches as such. There is a choice of breads. Indeed, they have one of the best rye breads that I have eaten; I eat rye whenever possible or do without. You cannot go wrong for a very good lunch or dinner experience. It is worth a drive of two hours or more!

I went here for a quick lunch and the food was good - there was the choice of sub sandwiches or tacos and burgers.
I did not appreciate having to listen to a television tuned to a news channel while I ate but otherwise the Main Street location and parking ease were good!

I have been told that we all do it wrong here by calling this great, flavors full, work of art a pizza. They tell me it's a pie. They might be correct with that statement because when you are here you get the satisfaction and enjoyment of the maim dish and have to go back for more. Would that be dessert? Therefore it is so good most people don't have room for more food. Lol.

Bartender is also the cook and a good one at that. I had 2 soft beef tacos...she stuffed them with ground beef and all the extras I requested - delicious and huge! I doggy bagged the second one. Atmosphere was relaxed - everyone friendly - with good country background music to play pool by. One of the locals joined in the pool games, making the evening more interesting.

Sooo pizza on the run in lovell officially sucks. We drove by and noticed they were still open so called to place an order and I got hung up on twice and then they just let it ring another two times and the last time they finally turned on the answering machine. What poor crappy customer service. We should've just walked in. Too bad there won't be a next time.

There is not too much more to say; our meals were actually back in 2013, then they closed for a bit or at least the sign was not up. They are oriental, nothing wrong with that but our choices were American and while they tried hard, .....
