Angelina's Ristorante Italiano

I have frequented Angelina's over the past 10 years. I've had a lot of experience dining out all over the country and I can say with confidence, that this place has excellent Italian food. Food recommendations: Osso Bucco if you can get it, chicken parmesan, and bolognese. The olive butter for the rolls is so good and most meals come with soup or salad. They have gluten free options here too that are probably the best I've ever had. A couple of things to keep in mind since this is a very small restaurant:

1. You need to make a reservation in advance. Don't expect to walk in and get a table. Its a small establishment and because of this, they need to plan their week accordingly. I've found that if I call a week in advance, its relatively easy to get a reservation for the time you're looking to dine.
2. Expect to take your time while eating. This is not going to be the place for you to come if you are expecting your food to be thrown together at lightning speed.
3. Don't pass on dessert. Their desserts are all amazing. They even do a really good version of a cannoli most nights that comes close to the good stuff in Boston.

In town for a baseball tournament and got the boys pizza during game break. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the pizza was outstanding. The place was busy, but they get people through. Would stop here again if we’re in town

Weathervane Seafood Restaurants

We had high hopes and expectations for a really good seafood dinner and were very disappointed in the entire experience. The food wasn't good, the rest rooms weren't clean and the service was mediocre. When we travel on the Eastern Seaboard, we eat seafood almost exclusively and we try to find authentic places that serve well prepared fish and shell fish. This place fell below our expectations. We won't be back.

Eggshell Restaurant

Reviewed By Jimmie H - Concord, United States

This is the first time i have eaten at the Eggshell restaurant and I was totally Blown Away. As you walk in the front door it feels like you're walking into somebody's kitchen or even dining room. The minute we walked in we saw the sign that said to see yourself and we picked the corner booth toward the front of the restaurant. It didn't take long for our waitress to come over and make sure that we had coffee and answer any of our questions.

My wife ordered a cabasa with eggs hash browns and whole wheat toast and I ordered two eggs over easy with hash browns whole wheat toast and corned beef hash slightly crispy. However, before we had our breakfast delivery I asked to have a heated cinnamon roll. I have lived in New England for quite a while and I've yet to find a real good cinnamon roll that I love. Well I'm happy to tell you that I have found one of the best cinnamon rolls ever. It is big and full of cinnamon and sugar flavor. The icing wad just perfect.

Breakfast was just as good the hash browns were nice and crispy the bread was just amazing and the corn beef hash was cooked exactly the way I wanted it. I'm looking forward to my next visit to the eggshell restaurant where I am convinced I will become a regular. I love the wait staff, she made us feel right at home, and the food is just amazing. I get this place my highest recommendation for breakfast. Plus I would go so far to say they serve the best cinnamon roll in New England.

There aren't many places to stop for a snack, coffee, bathroom as you approach the NH Motor Raceway just down the road. This place stands out as it has a lot of parking and is so convenient.

Service is friendly. Typical DD products. We picked up a few bagels for lunch before getting to the track. Hit the spot.

Jordan's Ice Creamery

Holy cow, this was amazing! What great homemade ice cream. I had the creamiest raspberry Ice Cream cone. It had these yummy chocolate candies in it that had raspberry filling onside them. It was soooo good. My friend had Pineapple Orange, which I would never have thought would be good. Seemed like it should be a Sherbet, not ice cream. But it was delicious too. Even the cone was yummy. You have to go enjoy some of this!

Gilmanton Winery and Vineyard

We try to visit a winery every couple of weeks and today we went for a ride to visit the Gilmanton Winery. We were very happy with the wine and as a nice bonus, they have a restaurant onsite. Sometimes restaurants at a winery are meant as an add on and the food can fall short. Not the case here, the lunch was excellent and was worth the ride whether or not you are a wine drinker. The facility is new and well kept. We plan on returning for their monthly 5 course dinner social.

I don't know what's happened, I have Loved Fat Dan's Ice Cream and have never previously been disappointed. Maybe it's due to the fact it is September and ice cream is not a huge priority. The sign said open, the hours showed that they were open, but no one was inside. We waited about 5 minutes and ordered a couple of our usual frappes (hard ice cream and milk blended). The frappes was in a much smaller than normal cup, and also had very little ice cream in it. The frappes were basically blended milk with very little discernable ice cream. A very disappointing trip, and I hope this is an exception and not the new norm. I'll let you know! My rating is based on the most recent visit, but everything before was FIVE Stars!

The Lakes Region Community College's culinary students offer an international buffet each Thursday (during the school year) at this historic site. Each week you get to try a different cuisine: today was Indian (wonderful shrimp curry, coconut cod, Kerala style lamb, curried chicken, Khadi soup, eggplant and potato combo) Last week was Greek/Middle Eastern. After the Spring break my friends and I will enjoy cuisine from the British Isles and then France the following week. For a mere $12 you get a wonderful meal plus the opportunity to try new flavors and new cuisines, or to enjoy your favorites. Space is limited so reservations make sense. My friends and I have a standing reservation each week. this is too good to miss. Seriously, if you want to try new cuisines, or if, like me, you love every type of food, this is the place to be! My group has been coming here regularly for 2 years and it is a highlight of our week.
