We had an amazing dinner here and decided to return the next night. Our first meal was eight different items ordered from the standard menu and each item was unique and delicious. The garden is a beautiful setting for dining and the service is impeccable. Our impression was that it was by far the best restaurant in Rab city.
The second night, in response to a very enthusiastic sales pitch from the waiter, we ordered a baked fish to be shared by the two of us. It was a John Dory (kovac) which was large but that is a fish that has a large head so less than half is edible. It was dry and a bit chewy, either not fresh or overlooked. Shame on us for not asking the cost in advance. When the bill came, the charge for the fish alone was 918 kuna, $140!!! The most overpriced fish dish In the world perhaps?

We went there because of good reviews on TA and we got all we expected and more. The food was excellent - we had "Rapska grota" (stuffed steak) and grilled hake. Meat was tender and wonderfully prepared and fish was absolutely fresh. Their house white is žlahtina, which is pretty good. We also had Rabska torta for dessert. The price was very reasonable and the service was good.

Appetizer (cheese & smoked meat) was fairly ok, bread on the other hand probably a few days old. Main dish was a big dissapointment, we ordered Jadranske lignje (Adriatic squid) which were Adriatic only by the price. Scarce (4), small and rubbery as **** for 30-35€. Never again!

We ate there for lunch. They served bread with some sauces when we were waiting for the main meal. We are delicious and abundant portions of grilled fishes with tasty side dishes included in the meal. They offered us traditional spirit after lunch. Prices are good.Relation quality/ food very high.

If your idea for a good meal is low quality frozen ingredients, including the canned and frozen vegetables, this is your place. If you'd like anything fresh or tasty you'll be hard pressed to find it here. Nice attentive service but bad presentation of foods and below average quality and taste. A big disappointment for us.

The first evening that we arrived in Lopar ( Rab ) we had dinner in Laguna one of the most famous restaurant in town.
I choose the grilled fish. The taste was very good, there was 3 big whole fish, plus scampi and calamari plus vegetables and potatoes.
Really a full meal! I suggest to everyone who is in Lopar to eat in this place. The price is good and the food il very tasty!

This restaurant was the largest surprise during our vacation in Croatia. We were desperately looking for a restaurant, which serves food between 14:00 and 17:00. Not expecting a lot, we found this jewel.
We ordered a huge skewer with meat and veggies. The skewer was nicely seasone with some vinegar and wine, which was and fresh alternative to the well known flavours. The portion is big and the sides are tasty. (Djuvec, Dalmatian Mangold and Potato).
Only after having tried different restaurants all over the country, we realized how good the food actually was. Simple but great cuisine!

Мы обедали с детьми в этом буфете. Обычно место фаст-фуд, ничего примечательного. Находится прямо на Райском пляже, рядом с тем местом, где мы загорали, поэтому выбрали его. Один раз посетить можно.

We felt very welcome and got a starter for two and a fresh fish for each (probably they had to get it somewhere else, on the spot, as we noticed a plate of fish bringing in after we made our orders). But al was well prepared and we got good service and complementary pousse-café.

We visited Lopar several times and Feral quickly became our favorite place in Lopar/Rab as well as the surrounding Islands we visited.
The fish/mussels are not only great but also extremely fresh. The house recipe of oven baked octopus is to die for.
Being ran by a family, this restaurant has an amazing friendly athmosphere and accommodates large groups easily.
