Ližnjan (Italian: Lisignano) is a village and municipality in Istria, Croatia. It has high biodiversity. There is a small church named Crkva Majke Božje od Kuj that dates back to the 17th century but was built on ancient foundations. It has a glass floor with an ornamental painting underneath. Importantly, the municipality also includes the remains of the ancient city of Nesactium, built by the ancient Histri.

The restaurant is temporary closed till easter 2016. Thanks to all for the good reviews.
We have visited this restaurant during our stay at Camp Medulin. Food is really delicious, view over the bay is beautifull, just do not visit them on the hot day. The heat under their umbrellas is almost unbareable, really do not understand why they do not change to some natural shadow

Istarska konoba
Great dining inside or outside in this very nice restaurant nearby Medulin.
Very relaxing atmosphere along with good service and good food on a very diversive menue.
Carpaccio with tuna is something that is highly recommended to try for those of us who are into fish in every form.

I only write reviews when I experience wonderful food. This place is a jewel for great seafood. Go with what is recommended that you will eat!

We had dinner the first night in Medulin, regretfully it was full when we arrived so we had to wait a bit for a table; I would say it was worth it because the table had an amazing view; the food was good and I would say is economic.

Even if it's not in the proximity of the beach, this is certainly the best restaurant we have been in Medulin. They have private parking, Terrace the food is fantastic, they offer bonuses on the house and also schnapps for free, you can pay also with credit card. Usually it's crowded, but we manage to find a table and also a place in the parking.
The crew is nice, the prices are OK. Very nice, we'll come back for sure.

We stayed nearby and saw the board sign by the main road. Thus we decided to give it a try. Ordered Seafood Risotto and Lasagna with a lot of shrimps. The food was really delicious. Good flavour and many seafood. We arrive 45minutes before they close and still receiving hearty service by the beautiful ladyboss, who constantly care for us. Come to dine if you are nearby! Recommended!

Dear Guests, due to seasonal refurbishments and personal holidays we will remain closed throughout January 2017. Thank you for your understanding, we wish you a happy and successful 2017!

Cari ospiti, causa ristrutturazioni stagionali e vacanze rimarremo chiusi il Gennaio del 2017. Vi ringraziamo per la pazienza e Vi auguriamo un felice 2017!
Best meal we've had during our week in Istria, especially the desserts which hitherto had been underwhelming- all four at Ancora were a hit. Excellent value and not noticeably more expensive than the tourist traps, but at Ancora you definitely won't be served overpriced, unlovingly prepared, poor quality ingredients. One word of warning, if you're prone to mosquito bites the Terrace is probably best avoided after dusk.
Reserving was straightforward via email, parking is limited so use any of the car parks on the approach. It's a short walk down a side road where you'll need to pass a couple of restaurants with touts to get to it. Well worth the tiny effort!

well i was there before and pizza is ok, not best pizza i ate but decent, surroundings is nice as exterior lies in olive trees, i must compliment waiter girl she was really professional and on spot. main problem is cocktail which was awful. we drank mojito which had too much lime, too little mint leafs and ice was a ball fist size that was floating in the glass, really the worst mojito i have ever had.

Have never seen bar like this before. Enjoied in every part of this bar. Must see to believe. Had luck these days to be here with friends and to have nice weather also. Polite and young waiters, place is pet friendly. Hard to believe it used to be military property and only they had admitance once.

Some people on here have complained about the staff - however this is a genuine Croatian restaurant who make fresh Croatian food - I have personally seen customers who have complained vigorously that the food is not instant or that they cannot get a seat when they have arrived at the busiest time without reservation.
The restaurant is not a fast food place, if you sit back and relax, enjoy your food - be prepared to wait a little while your food is made or the wonderful pizza is cooking in the pizza oven and also try to interact positively with the genuine family staff then you will truly enjoy your visit.
The food is great the prices are good and if you want expensive fast food which is of much lower quality then go and fight through the crowds in Medulin.
If you make a reservation and relax and wait for your meal to be made then you will realise that this restaurant is a little gem and one of the most enjoyable in Istria
