The service was very friendly, the wines were delicious but the food was only OK. We took 3 out of their 6 course menu and had to wait for 90 minutes between starter and main course, where the beef was frankly very tough. The desert offered nice structures but a narrow palette of tastes.

Popular tapas joint in Lier. On a saturday evening tables are doubled or trippled, so your time at the table might be limited. Food is served lightening fast, it's fresh, has some nice flavours. But (as with many tapas bars) a bit on the pricy side. They seem to have it right though, judged by the popularity of the joint.

I liked everything about it. It's a small and very cosy restaurant managed by a couple, where he's the cook and the lady welcomes the people and serve them. The menu and food is excellent, particular and served with love and professionality. Wine is excellent chosen and adapted to the food. In a word: it's perfect!

Enjoyed dining in the relaxing atmosphere inside. Place was recommended to me by friends for their eel-dishes. We had eel in a cream-sauce with fresh mushrooms; very good indeed. For entree we had maatjes (raw herring - now in season) and shrimp cocktail. Everything nicely presented by the helpful and friendly staff. Delicious home made icecream as dessert. Very good value for money.

Don't forget to make your reservation on time as extremely popular.
Nice stylush atmosphere, perfect for an intimate dinner or a business lunch. If you are looking to impress and enjoy excellent cooking then this is the place to be.
Nice service an also great wines.
Price-wise not your weekly hangout, but definitely a must go to once in a while

Cafe latino is a small , cosy typicall and restaurant /tapas & cocktailbar You'll find a selection of house made Spanish tapas and some southern American specialities. I've been here with some friends for an informal dinner. Prices of main dish are between 20 and 25€ and once they served the plates were quite small.
Quality it's average don't expect hte best meal you ever had because it won't be the case.
Service it's ok.
Would I go back? Probably not, I'll try some other restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We have been eaten there with the family to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful evening with great Italian food, a good personal service, a nice and happy atmosphere, really great. I really would recommend this restaurant to everybody who likes authentic Italian food (and who does not like that...?) We will certainly go back!!

The booking of the table was made during their closing hours, I knocked on the window, door was opened and reservation taken without any hassle.
Food was really good, came as quickly as we wanted and was served with a smile and of knowledge about the food itself.
Service was friendly, but not overtly so.
Pricing was reasonable, so we were very happy when we left the prmises.

On a cold, rainy day in December this looked to be the only place open, so we reluctantly headed in....and I'm pleased it was! An eclectic menu can sometimes be a sign of average food yet our curried chicken, noddles, salad, carbonara, Belgian stew and children's dishes were all way above what I was expecting in both quality and quantity. This place is worth a detour from Antwerp!
