The pleasant lake side location was perhaps the best part of our lunch. The large dining room in this popular eatery is filled with light from the large windows. The entry with a fire place, and decor is several notches above "fast food". The bread and salad service is the usual buffet style. . . with freshly baked, high quality breads, but a less than expected selection and quality of salad ingredients.
We tried the exotic sounding Asian burger. Which turned out to be a large, dried out meat ball with an interesting sauce. The fish stew (with lots of shell fish) looked to be a better choice although that broth looked like hardly more than hot water.
The dessert crepes were good. The service was friendly, but slow in cleaning tables, etc. The ingredients for the dishes seemed good, but the execution was by a "food assembler", not a chef.
This place is most like a high end cafeteria. Like all Swedish restaurants, it was not a very good value.
If in Lerum ever again, I would look for a different restaurant.

Vi valde att ha möte på Sjölyckan och det visade sig vara ett mycket bra val! Bra tillgång på faciliteter i lokalen, mysig frukostfika, ljuvlig lunch, trevliga människor, lokaler med härlig atmosfär och underbar omgivning om man vill sträcka på benen emellanåt. Lättillgängligt läge precis vid E20.

Vi var här och åt lunch. Tyvärr var skaldjursröran slut till bakpotatisen så döttrarna tid räkmacka istället. Jag åt sallad. Inget exeptionellt när det gäller maten men jag reagerade starkt positivt på personalen!
Jag fick veta att kaffe ingick, eller te om jag så önskade. Det har aldrig någon upplyst mig om innan (jag dricker inte kaffe nämligen). Och så fort någon gäst gick ropade personalen: Hej då och tack så mycket! Och dukade genast av bordet så det var fräscht snabbt för nästa gäst. Det kallar jag att vara service minded!
Bra utbud, normala priser.

The atmosphere is fantastic - next to a lake, you have a spa & sauna nearby. The food is fabolous. We had a three dinner course, the waitor was amazing and really worth the extra tip we gave him. He really put an effort in making our visitors from Australia welcome. We have been back again after that and the same result again. We really feel like being kept after. Great knowledge too about suitable wine with the meal.
We truly recommend that you pay a visit here!

Kaffedoppet har funnits i många år och drivs av familj i flera generationer. Kaffelokalen kan kännas gammal, men ändå mycket mysig. Många goda bakverk och bakelser. Det egna bageriet säljer också mycket gott matbröd.

Ett infall att äta lunch hos Hugos Handel & Kök i Nääs fabriker efter att vi såg detta mysiga ställe. Vi beställde var sin pizza. Mozzarella, Salsiccia & tomat samt Taleggio, Cecina & fikon. Det var nog årets godaste pizzor (inkluderat mina egna hemgjorda). Fantasifulla och mycket goda.
Får åka hit igen snart!
