For my wife's birthday while visiting the island Oland, this restaurant impressed us in every way. Top quality menu, artistic presentation, knowledgeable wait staff and elegant setting makes this the best restaurant we found on the island.

Word is that this restaurant is one of the better restaurants in Borgholm. It's not.
This restaurant had really good service with fun and service-minded staff. Although I wasn't completely satisfied with the visit I left with a smile!
The food was OK but nothing more and it was slightly over-priced in my opinion.
The food is best described as typical Swedish pub food - which makes me wonder about how this restaurant can have such high status. I guess it boiles down to location. It's near the harbour but not as pricy as the restaurants located in the harbour.
I recommend this restaurant to the family that's on vacation and don't have too high demands on their food. The meny is child-friendly and even has a child-meny.
So in short:
I had a nice visit. Overrated. Slightly over-priced.

Wannborga is a very small distillery. It's hard to find, but worth the look. Charming, with a cheerful, Swedish woman pouring tastes of strong, local spirits.

The cafe offers a choice of coffee, homemade cakes, ice cream and candies. These can be enjoyed inside or in the cafe garden with its impressive view of the church. For children there is a "pirate ship" in the garden and an indoor play area. In the candyhandcraftfactory you can view us making candies, by drawing out the sugar to poles and pressing the sweets out using our almost one hundred years old candy rollers

Amazing to see how candies are produced and you can choose from dozens of different flavors. This was a great experience for the entire family. The shop is run by a German/Swedish couple and has a very friendly atmosphere.

Really nice bakery with great selection of cakes and bread, all freshly baked. Coffee available here as well and also a buffet breakfast up until 11am I think.

Familjeägd restaurang i Köpingsvik som serverar både pizzor och ala carte med bra kött och pasta. Har också pizza för avhämtning. Gott och trevligt. Lite rörigt och ibland lång väntetid på både bord och mat. Men håller en jämn hög kvalité, kanske lite hög prisbild...

This is actually in the same house as chef Jonas's family home. He's an internationally acclaimed chef who only uses locally produced food. He takes great care in planning extraordinary meals for each evening.
This is a place to eat slowly and really taste every bite. The service couldn't be better and the chef will come out to answer questions and check that everything's alright.
The wine selection was also very good.
We love this place. A visit a year is a must.

We stopped by and were served very tasty seafood dishes. Also the desserts were highly appreciated by our kids. Be aware that the restaurant is only opened until 6pm in low season ( we were here in May), so no dinner.

This place where surprisingly good when our rather large (six adults, two teens, two smaller children) family ate here.
The menu is quite limited but what they serve is honest and well done.
The staff does a very good job of entertaining you, they even came over to ask me if I was happy with my wine.
We cancelled our Reservations at lammet och grisen and ate here two nights in a row instead.

Nice small restaurant in cental Borgholm.
It has a really cosy backyard, take a table there if the weather allows it.
The menu was not huge but enough for me to have trouble to deside.
The food was good and the price level ok.
Finished the meal with an excellent espresso.
