The tiny restaurant serves the best Greek food I've ever eaten. Located on the corner of Franklin St and Jefferson St, sit-down dining is available. They also have a patio for outside dining. They have a wide variety of Greek food and Chicago style hotdogs!

Stopped to have coffee and just loved the setting so we had coffee and a sandwich. Excellent sandwich made with love. Fresh coffee! Customers were a mix of students and non-students. Old building but a comfortable setting. I had the walnut maple pumpkin cookie and my friend had a chocolate chip cookie. Mine was excellent; my friend's cookie was "tasteless"...it was missing an ingredient but not sure what was missing? Recommend. Free wifi.

high school kids working don't care at all about customer service. Soda machine wasn't working and still charged me for drinks knowing the machine was not working right. drinks were flat and when I went back to ask for different drink kid basically said sorry they are all like that. He was trying to sell drinks to another customer instead of letting her know the machine was broke. He almost didn't want to give me my money back when I asked. Place was absolutely dirty and disgusting w food and trash all over the floors and walls overflowing the trash can.

Colton's Steak House & Grill

Reviewed By kwagmeister - Evansville, Indiana

In the small town of Kirksville there is not a huge number of restaurants and especially not many open on a Sunday evening. This one was convenient to area hotels and is close by the university as well, so it is understandably popular with travelers and families. I ordered a sirloin and baked sweet potato. The sweet potato was wonderful. The steak was just ok - a little more done than the medium rare I ordered and therefore a bit tough. My daughter’s salmon was undercooked - I know salmon and its prep and it shouldn’t be dry - this was near raw in the middle. She ate around it, and didn’t want to send it back. Her side vegetables were excellent. Rolls are wonderful - soft, warm, and drizzled with melted butter.
Prices are very inexpensive which makes this a good choice for families. You won’t find fine wines or upscale martinis - but there is bar service and soft drinks/tea. A diner in another booth was celebrating a birthday, which brought the servers with a sundae and cow bells. It was cute.
Judging from the full parking lot this is a place that will continue to be popular.

Pronounced "polly eyes) this local pizza place has been around forever (almost!) Everyone goes there--- college kids, business people, families, visitorsetc. Pagliai's Ronzas have a reputation for uniqueness. I find them ok, but my daughters love them. The pizza is average to good, and sometimes the service is fast and other times it's dreadfully slow. The attraction to Pagliai's is a crowd of people eating, laughing, talking and enjoying a local icon. Lest you think I'm painting a dreary picture I am not. If you are a visitor you must go to Pagliai's. Be sure to take your kids or friends, have some pizza and laugh a lot!

We went for breakfast. The restaurant is easy to find and accessible from two streets. There is plenty of parking. The server was friendly and attentive. We ordered typical breakfast meals. The meals were served quickly. The food was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and the next time we are in Kirksville we will eat there again.

I went to this dining place by the lake for a breakfast buffet. Although the meal itself was quite tasty, the variety and quantity really disappointed me. I didn't even know there were places that offered a "breakfast buffet" and being so limited. Usually it is called a Brunch Buffet , but this was not the case.
