Mourella restaurant is an excellent place to have dinner if you like perfectly cooked local food in a sophisticated serving and professional and personal service. Lovely looking family run restaurant. We are not used to Creek red wines but there we found something really special. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay and met such a warm welcome. Thank you for the great dinner and emotions we got there!

The reviews on this place seemed to be amazing so we were very much looking forward to eating here during our holiday
The starters were not cooked very nicely, mussels were gritty. We got a dipping platter which included hummous and other dips but didn't get enough bread. One starter that was nice was the feta in honey.
For mains, the salmon was very nice but all the sides were very unimaginative. For a fresh sea food restaurant right by the sea, this can be improved massively

Came here for lunch one day, portion of white bait, portion of prawns and portion of chips with drinks.
The white bait were HUGE and a very bit portion, little bit dry
The prawns we miniscule with shells still on but very tasty
Chips were chips lol
Now. The Long Island Ice Tea. I didn't care much about the food after that. Pretty hammered in 37 degree heat

From June 10 to the 17, 2012, we had the great fortune to spend a tremendous week at the fabulous Al Mare Villas in Kiokari Beach on Rhodes. By chance, we wandered into Pelican's Nest for dinner our first night in Kiokari. Immediately, we were overwhelmed by the friendly, hilarious, generous, hospitable owner and chief cook, George Pelekanos. We had such a good time and enjoyed our authentic Greek meal at such a reasonable price, that we subsequently took most of our dinners at Pelican's Nest. In fact, meeting George Pelekanos and enjoying his Greek cuisine and overall hospitality was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Greece. This was our first visit to the Island of Rhodes but have visited Greece on 3 occasions in the past 4 years. It is the hospitality, friendship, and generosity of George Pelekanos and his staff at Pelican's Nest that exemplifies the best that Greece has to offer. My wife and I cannot recommend the Pelican's Nest highly enough for the great Greek cuisine, friendly athmosphere and great value. George's hospitality is unbeatable.

We have visited this restaurant many times over our numerous visits to Kiotari. It is right on the seafront and has great access for wheelchair users and people of limited mobility.
I will honestly say that this is one of the friendliest places we have found on our travels, Helen and her family are genuinely the nicest people you could hope to meet.
The restaurant itself has inside Seating or outside Seating all of which have a wonderful view of the sea, the outside Seating can get a little windy at times but you have to expect that when overlooking the seafront.
Now for the main event, the food. This year we have tried more on the menu. The meatballs are a firm favourite and are just wonderful as always. We highly recommend the fish souvlaki, the pork schnitzel (big portion so bring your appetite!), fish balls, the chefs salad, the garlic pita, the list goes on.
All the food is cooked fresh with great ingredients.
I could go on so I will just say this. We genuinely have never had a bad meal here after many visits. Helen and her family provide great service, changing dishes for the more fussy in our party to suit their needs.
All in all a fantastic restaurant which we will visit again on our future trips to Kiotari.

We enjoy great food and good times when we visit - which we do regularly.
Savas and Irene are wonderful people and there is always many locals present which is always a good sign.
The Greek Sausage is fab - we have trouble ordering anything else when we visit!!!

We had a take away pizza the first night we arrived. Fantastic. Cooked fresh while you wait and happy to sit and have a beer whilst waiting. Wasn't disappointed.
We then went and ate in. Fantastic service and a good choice of Italian meals. Again the pizza was excellent and so was the pesto linguine was really tasty. Limoncello at the end was a nice touch too. We will be back before we go home to sample some of the other choices on the menu.
It wasn't to pricey either.

Enjoyed our last meal of our holiday resort at this restaurant. Sadly we discovered it late and would definitely had come back if we were staying longer . Excellent service, very good food. Nice quiet setting. Well worth a visit and deserved of a higher ranking in Rhodes restaurants.

The Lighthouse Restaurant - Bar is found in the Municipality of Southern Rhodes in the region of Kiotari. It is a family business which was established in 1992. It’s just 20 meters from the sea and it offers its customers great food (fresh meats, seafood etc.) and drinks (cocktail, coffees, etc.). The fantastic beach in front of the Lighthouse restaurant is offered for swimming, relaxation, and sunbathing. Clientele is continuously increasing and this is what makes it one of the well known hangouts on the island of Rhodes. Come and check it out….we promise you, you won’t regret it!!

This was our second visit to Lighthouse, the first was on previous visit to Rhodes about 3/4 years ago. Excellent food, good service and a great setting overlooking the beach. Swordfish was superb!

Just had our second dinner here in 2 days. Really excellent freshly cooked food at very good prices. Traditional greek food, home cooked, good portions.
Feel so sorry for owners as next door restaurant has no 1 rating, so this one is passed by.
All in all, can't fault it.
