Decks Restaurant

We had dinner there. In winter it works together with pagoda restaurant, you can choose from both menus. I asked beforehand if they offered vegetarian dishes, and I was told that they would be able to prepare something. When we got there, we were told that the only choice is a salad. Only after we asked, we were offered the second menu and my partner was able to get some vegetarian noodles. I had the steak and the meals were quite good. It's a bit pricey though.

Little Tiberias

Little Tiberias is a quality chef-restaurant with a menu featuring gourmet French Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is located inside a building that forms part of the ancient city wall of Tiberias and that dates back to Roman times. Its special setting, as well as the beautifully planned interior, grant Little Tiberias an exclusive European atmosphere, like a little French Riviera on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The restaurant is family-owned, and was opened by Rafi, the head of the family and the founder. The whole family are culinary specialists, with generations of acquired knowledge. They are headed by the restaurant's chef, David Oudiz, whose kitchen produces excellent original dishes - starters, appetizers, soups and pastas, and succulent main dishes of fish, meat and seafood. Try our entrecote beef steak (300 g), beef Stroganoff (250 g fillet of beef), shrimp martini (with a sauce of cream, garlic and basil, topped with Parmesan) and a whole range of fine dishes. Our menu features a selection of desserts and many quality wines. As befits a beautifully designed, romantic restaurant in a tourist destination, the clientele of Little Tiberias is very varied - guests are of all ages, foreign and Israeli tourists, couples, and regular clients from the city and the surrounding region who enjoy their dining experience and come back again and again. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a blend of harmonious background music - classical jazz, romantic music, and popular hits. In the 1980s, the building housed a famous pub that was a major leisure attraction in Tiberias and for residents of the region. Later, an Italian restaurant was opened, but in recent years the site was renovated and improved. Some dishes on the menu (like our renowned steak with pepper and cream), remain as before, with all the tradition and know-how that the family accumulated. The restaurant, designed by architect Gadi Shamir, has two wings: the old, authentic wing, with beautiful wood elements of old telephone poles carved in classic style, with wooden wine racks, and a mural painted by the famous Tiberias-born artist - Amos Yaskil. The beautiful new wing is larger, and now offers a bar that's perfect for drinking wine and spirits, and for dining too. You can also sit on the spacious balcony, with its windows offering impressive views. We are happy to cater private events in a separate room.

This was my second visit to the restaurant, and it was better than the first - if that could be possible. I had the garden salad and my partner had the Mediterranean salad. Both were very large and fresh. We then each selected the Beef...MoreThank you so much it was a pleasure

Our tour group stopped here for lunch and every one of us thought it was superb! Best fish (grilled tilapia) ever!! And all of the side dishes were amazing as well! Beautiful, fresh pita bread , fabulous hummus, a ‘must be seen to be believed’ onion ring blossom (YUM!!), salad (the dressing was so delicious!), and dates for dessert. Loved every single morsel!

Enjoyed the Pita bread with Brinjal gravy, and had Falafel & potato fingers with a drink. Food was good. Especially the brinjal preparation, which was fried with tomatoes tasted almost like an Indian dish. But the only downside was that it was costly. It amounted 47 NIS.

Marinado

It is an interesting place - a shop, butcher and restaurant combined.
The steaks were excellent and so where the lamb ribs - prime local meat.
We had also great appetizers (goose liver pate and eggplant with tahini and avocado).
We had also a very good house wine (Israeli) and a cream-brulee desert.
Portions where generous and prices moderate.

We enjoyed a great meal at Galei Gil for 4 people. We each ordered something different and shared all the tastes and flavours and all was delicious. The atmosphere right next to the water with the stting sun, beautifull views and great food made for a perfect evening. The next night we walked by, greeted the host as we were passing and was spoiled with a free coffee. What an enjoyable time we had on the Promenade.

We were in Tiberias for a week and ate here twice.
Excellent food each time (we tried different dishes) and they came with a massive selection of complimentary salds and bread which we hardly made a dent in! We tried the schnitzel, the lamb kebabs and the beef kebabs. All excellent with reasonable prices.

Ein Gev Fish Restaurant

Reviewed By Jenny M

We stopped by here to view the lake at sunset and to try the fish. It was a highlight of our trip to Israel. We both ordered the St Peters signature dish and a side salad of the leafy greens and date salad, and roasted potatoes. The meal was amazing !! Presentation and taste was fresh and divine. Service was excellent. Views from outside spectacular. Total cost with a drink each was 244 NIS but it was well worth it. Highly recommended.
