Thank you for another great season. Our two stores are now closed for the season. See you in the spring.

Brickley’s Ice Cream is the ultimate ice cream provider in our local area....their ice cream is really creamy and the number of flavors and servings sizes are generous. Summer is not complete without an insane number of visits to Brickleys every summer. My favorite flavor is ginger...my wife’s favorite is mocha almond fudge....nuf said.

Thanks for visiting our Tripadvisor page. Our hours will change again at the end of August. Sorry, we do not take credit cards - we continue to look at options to accept credit cards, however, as of now we cannot justify the swipe charge and % fees charged by the various companies. Credit/debit card processing also tend to slow the lines. Thank you for for understanding.

I was going to say QA let a bad batch through but ingredients were changed. No long dark chocolate morsels but now smaller chips. Yogurt wasn't as thick and flavor lacking. Hope this isn't a cost cutting measure they stick with.

We had a wonderful meal here. The restaurant looks quite unassuming from the outside, and is located in a large retail park, but inside it is large and quite palatial, decorated with dark wood panelling. The staff were really friendly and helpful - especially about my gluten free requirements and were able to accommodate my needs with ease. We shared the daily special starter (baked mushroom) which was delicious, and our main courses were equally wonderful. It is not open on a Monday. Highly recommended!

International Pocket Cafe

We live 2 miles from this shop. We frequent Albie's quite often (great food) and they happened to be closed this weekend. We contemplated going next door into this establishment even though we had a bad experience there about ten years ago and had not been back since. We read the menu outside and went into order. I was very rudely told that both of my choices were no longer sold there. It's a mystery to me why the menu was still up! All in all, the people (owners?) are extremely unfriendly. The pastrami was fatty and the eggplant was greasy. The store does not look clean. Won't make the mistake of going back again!

TLC Coffee Roasters

Reviewed By Timothy G - Westerly, Rhode Island, United States

The coffee is so good here that we now buy it by the pound and use it as our home coffee! They have many different kinds of roasts, most with catchy names like 'Bruce Wayne' or our favorite, 'John Wayne.' And let me tell ya, pilgrim, it's a coffee The Duke himself would be proud to have his name on.

They also have some good pastry, and serve up sandwiches. I can't vouch for the sandwiches, they look good, but I've only had a pastry or two, and they were very good!

You'll find the prices a little above the average here... 2 medium coffees with 2 pastries is about $11, but it's well worth it. That extra dollar or two over the cost of your local chain coffee shop is well worth it! Honestly, that chain joint coffee from the North West costs more, is horrible, and seems to be more interested in drawing a political line then making good coffee as of late.

Be good to yourself, be a good host, buy some TLC Coffee Raosters coffee for your next gathering... it's well worth it!

Tilly's Cheesesteaks

Rhode Island's first and only "Philly Cheesesteak" joint. At Tilly's we take a fresh and local approach to high quality cheesesteaks.

Reviewed By Sunny O - Kingston, Rhode Island

We were looking for a place to have dinner one Monday and found lots of places closed, except for Tilly's Cheesesteaks. We decided to give it a try and were a little taken back by the menu, it took my wife a bit to navigate the menu and we settled on a version of a lettuce wrapped cheesesteak, and were VERY delighted with the outcome. We talked to the crew there, they were very helpful with getting us through the menu, making suggestions and just being very welcoming. The place is nice, but could use a little touch of something to make it less 'quiet'. Not sure what that means, but there was nothing about the place that would make you want to linger, so hope it continues to offer good local sources food and organic produced foods.

Coast Guard House

Spectacular waterfront dining overlooking Narragansett Bay. Offering an array of creative cuisine; supporting all aspects of sustainable agriculture and aquaculture. We use local farms when possible and source produce for quality and sustainability. Our seafood is sourced from purveyors that are dedicated to locating species from areas that produce the best tasting and highest quality seafood available.

First of all, if you can manage to grab an outdoor patio table or spot here, then right off the bat, you're in for a great experience! Right on Narragansett Bay, this is a true waterfront dining experience! The views are undoubtedly unbeatable.

The parking here can be challenging, and is valet only. I had no problems with them parking or retrieving the vehicle, but it can seem chaotic-like by the front entrance with the large amounts of vehicles coming and leaving. I was there on a Thursday night, and the place was definitely crowded!

The staff was very friendly. Since I was by myself, I was able to sit at a two-person table next to the bar...not necessarily ideal, but it was outside...so that was certainly ideal!

I had the shrimp and corn chowder, which seemed a bit watery for a chowder, but was very good. I also had an excellent lobster roll; it was a large sandwich, with lots of large pieces of lobster. There were also a couple of local beers on tap, which added to the experience of the meal.

Overall, this was an excellent meal and experience, and would recommend!
