Great bakery, fresh breads, and friendly staff. I had pumpkin bread, latte, and oatmeal cookie. Pumpkin bread was fresh and yummy. Latte was great. The oatmeal cookie was okay. It was dry and hard. My husband had Turkey sandwich which he said was amazing. Very quaint shop in a cute town.

Carmela's Italian Restaurant

Reviewed By csback - Wellfleet, Massachusetts

I've been to Carmela's many times and never regretted it. The atmosphere is casual, waitresses are pleasant and the reasonably priced food is delicious. I had a stuffed quahog and seafood scampi. My friend had a garden salad and penne pasta fra diavalo. Bread and olive oil accompanied the meal. The finale was a homemade cake by an intern from a local high school who is headed to C.I.A. A wonderful evening and leftovers for lunch!

KNOCK IT OFF PLYMOUTH! You guys have the BEST BURGERS!! My sister read about your burgers from Phantom Gourmet & suggested that the 4 of us visit on a Sunday afternoon.

AMBIENCE & SEATING (Warning about seating)
======================================
o The place was packed, but they seated us quickly at a high-top with 4 bar stools. I mention this in case you have someone elderly who can't handle a barstool. I caught that there were regular tables, but it looked like lower table, lower stools - no backs on the chairs.

SERVICE GETS FIVE STARS
======================================
o SUPER friendly & helpful waitress. Attentive, informative, helpful without being noodgy.

FOOD GETS FIVE STARS
======================================
o Burger BUNS - flavorful buns, perfectly prepared (NOT soggy!)
o Burger MEAT - perfectly cooked to order, flavorful, hand pressed burgers
o Burger Combinations were awesome so we ordered four different kinds & everyone loved what the ordered:
BACON CHEESE BURGER
HORSERADISH PEPPERCORN BURGER
GOOD MORNING BURGER (this one has a sunny egg on top)
KKATIE’S KKRUNCH BURGER: DELICIOUS!!!
(this one is Angus Burger topped cherry wood smoked bacon, American cheese, caramelized onions, creamy roasted garlic and shallot dip, lettuce and tomato on a grilled sesame seed bun

ENJOY!

We stopped in for ice cream and had a long chat with the owner. He was very friendly and loves his work (and customers). We had a great time and enjoyed the icecream. We took cupcakes to go and enjoyed those later. The cupcakes are moist and Delicious will so much frosting, I had to leave some off (my son ate it later).

Port Bistro

Reviewed By sandi2646 - Plymouth, Massachusetts

My husband and I recently visited Port Bistro for the first time to celebrate my birthday.
It was an excellent choice! He had the mussels as an appetizer -- delicious! ~ and I enjoyed the Roasted Beet Salad. Although some of the beets were undercooked I loved the combination of beets, baby spinach, goat cheese and nut brittle. The Seafood Paella I ordered for my entree contained a wealth of seafood: clams, mussels, shrimp, fish, scallops -- and chorizo sausage in a tasty tomatoey puree sauce served on rice. I took hakf of it home as the portion was large. My husband enjoyed the BIG pork chop served with mashed sweet potato and broccolini. Alas, we were too full for dessert. The service was excellent, but unobtrusive. Food was served hot and very promptly. Although the location of this restaurant is not too exciting once you walk through the doors the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Ample close parking is helpful as is easy access. Give Port Bistro a try soon!

Blueberry Muffin Restaurant

Reviewed By Michael K - Albany, NY

We were visiting relatives in Plymouth area and they recommend Blueberry Muffin for breakfast. It was excellent. Really one of the best breakfast cafes I have ever been to. Our party of four had blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, eggs over easy, and an omelette and all were excellent. Hash browns were excellent. Raisin toast was really good. Prices are extremely reasonable.

This ice cream shop is tucked into a back alley in some shops in the Plymouth harbor area. What a find! The ice cream is incredible, ultra premium and definitely not some mass produced product. I loved the unique of some flavors, like the coconut almond.

Solstice Restaurant

Located in a restored 1900's train depot. Exposed brick and Original artwork highlight an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere.

Reviewed By J R

Solstice was our choice for our 10th anniversary. It was simply lovely, the building is so welcoming, an old train station, decorated for Christmas. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was outstanding! Even the spinach salad was delicious, my entree was the lamb shank. YUM! Small menu, prices are not cheap but it is specialized and well done. We didn't make to dessert so we will have to back.
We will return for sure.

Wood's Seafood

Reviewed By Kevin W - lifesabeachLindsay

We ate there in Sept. 2017. My wife got fried clams. Our son got fish and chips and I had baked scallops. My wife reported the the clams were fine and my son said the same about the fish and chips. By far I had the best meal. Scallops were so good. There were probably 20(?) on my plate. I know it only looks like a dozen or so in the pic but there were many more hiding under the fries. It was like I hit the jackpot with my meal. So many and so delicious. I gave 3-4 each to my wife and son and I still had plenty. We are from Ontario, Canada and buying scallops here is like buying gold so we don't have them often. I would eat them once a week if I lived near Wood's. I should have got the rice on the side instead of fries. Price was $15.95 USD which is about $20.50 CDN and very worth the money. We can get a scallop meal here for that much money but there would only be 8-9 scallops on your plate.

Ziggy's

It's a great ice cream shop on the main street in the historic area of Plymouth. I loved the sugar free ice cream.

Reviewed By CraftBeers - Plano, Texas

Ziggy's is right on the main drag across from Pilgrim Park. All the sailboats are anchored in the bay, and it's beautiful. As people walk up and down the main strip, they pass this little white shack tucked between all the other buildings. They have a walk-up window in the front, so you can order from the street. It's easier if you go inside where you can see all the menu choices.

Seating inside is very limited. They do have a bench and a handful of picnic tables outside. Like many places in the New England area, CASH ONLY. It's so annoying, but if you want the ice cream, you'll do as they say.

I found the service to be lacking. They were not friendly or helpful. We tried the watermelon old fashion slush. It was just okay. Stick with the ice cream. They must be doing something right. They've been open for 60 years!
