For outstanding, unique pizza, stop by Java Blend. If you oike reuban sandwiches, they serve a great one, and in addition you can get a reuban pizza. It has a hometown atmosphere, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. On Mondays a pizza bar is presented for a very cheap price. A great place for lunch, and they also have take home and bake pizza.

The Diner

Reviewed By Norman B - Lowry City, Missouri

This small mom and pop restaurant is a great place to eat. We found it on our Garman as we were travelling. The food was really terrific, servings large, and staff friendly. Those sitting around us appeared to be having a great time.
There were several truckers there so it appeared that they too had discovered a great place to eat.
As soon as we left I called my daughter (a truck driver) to inform her of our discovery.
I doubt that I will be back there but if I am, I will definitely eat there again.

It was a hot day and 500 miles later we went in and had one of the best Peanut Buster Parfaits that my wife and I have had. The young lady behind the counter was very nice.

We had lunch and a business meeting at the Wind Break. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a blackened prime rib sandwich with the most wonderful homemade garlic Parmesan chips. There were five of us and all had great meals. Good service and beautiful setting near the golf course too.

Subway

Reviewed By Colorado_Lillies - Lakewood

We stopped on our way home from our appointment, and decided to have a seafood and crab sub. I can say they still are the best Subway around. Not kidding. Their vegetable slices aren't paper thin..big plus in my books. The veggies you can actually taste, and are fresh, not mushy or partially frozen, plus the staff is always happy :^D Never went here when they weren't. This place is always clean too. Great Job! Great Sandwiches! Great Staff! Thank you!

Beer & Loathing

Reviewed By uclatraveler9 - Los Angeles, California

We were driving through town and needed something to eat. There aren't a lot of options in Kimball, so we decided on this one because of the fun theme. I'm glad we stopped by!

My sister and I split a chicken sandwich with tater tots and an order of pierogi. Everything was tasty! The pierogi were deep fried- yum! Their beer list identified local Nebraska beers, which was a nice touch.

If you were in town it seems like this would be a fun place to hang out. They have a pool table and a TV.

The lady working at the bar (I think she was the owner?) was nice.

Kimball is small, so we didn't expect a great dining experience, but we were very pleased with the meal we had at Big Mamou. It looked like the kind of place where locals would gravitate to, although it was not at all crowded. Our waitress was pleasant, and the food was good. We would definitely eat here again if ever plassing through.

Peyton's Island Time

Reviewed By Windblown O - Chickasha, Oklahoma

Peyton's Island Time was clean, quick and had great service. Our waitress, Shannon, was attentive and the food was wonderful. We had a relaxing Saturday morning breakfast with the kids and the food was delicious. We had smothered breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, sausage and eggs. It was ALL GREAT!
They have a couple of private dinning areas for special occasions and the ladies room was very clean and nice.
