Kearns (/kɜːrnz/ kurnz) is a Metro Township and census-designated place (CDP) in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. Named after Utah's U.S. Senator Thomas Kearns, it had a population of 35,731 at the 2010 Census. This was a 6.2 percent increase over the 2000 figure of 33,659. Kearns is home to the Utah Olympic Oval, an indoor speed skating oval built for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

The staff here is excellent and very friendly. The decor was nice. The food was average all around. I had the Green Chicken Enchilada (#18). The chicken was very dry and really took away from the experience. The entrance to the parking lot has a very steep dip and unless you have an SUV or take some crazy angles, you will scrape both the front and back of your car.

On a recent trip to Salt Lake, my wife and I were looking for a late night/post concert/birthday/anniversary sweet treat. Of course, we turned to Yelp and found Leatherby's Family Creamery. And, luckily for us, it was open until midnight.
As we walked up, we were surprised to see it filled with many other late night diners - and we soon discovered why - their ice cream is DE-LI-CIOUS!!! We almost turned around when we saw the queue at the door. But it moved quickly and we were seated within 10 minutes. (BTW, there's also a take-out counter if you want to take your creamy, deliciousness to-go).
Their menu features typical ice cream parlor fare: burgers and fries to go with an impressive selection of ice cream treats - shakes, sundaes, banana splits, etc.
We were initially going to order the "Daddy Doug's Banana Special" - think of a banana split on steroids. Fortunately, the table next to us had just ordered it, and when we saw the MOUNTAIN of ice cream and toppings that was to be shared (by 6 young men!) we knew it was out of our league. We opted for the regular banana split (with your choice of ice cream 3x and toppings 3x). As it turned out, this was only slightly smaller than the Daddy Doug! And at just under $8, not only was it delicious, it was also a great deal! (BTW, their peanut butter cookie dough ice cream is out-of-this-world!!!)
If you are ever in the Taylorsville area, you MUST visit Leatherby's!!!

Just went here tonight as we are on or way out to Cali and are spending a night in West Jordan. We were walking around the shopping area looking for a place to eat and didn't want to eat at a chain. Saw this place and decided to try it. Glad we did! Sorry we don't live here as we would return often. Service was wonderful as was the food. Prices very reasonable. We had Samosas and garlic naan, lamb curry and Baygan Bharta (eggplant). It all came with white rice. They also have restaurants in Provo and SLC.

We've eaten at other Texas Roadhouses and were disappointed but decided to give it another try. This time we shared a 20 ounce rib eye. It was perfectly cooked. Equal to any fine steakhouse. Our server, Mike, was the best!

Always open for business!!! When you got an hankering for good food late at night It's one of the best. They make it fresh to order and fast. And you can always find one wherever you are. Love those scones!!!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant when we were looking for the billiards hall next store. We were highly disappointed in the billiards hall, but saw that Acapulco's had pretty good reviews.
From the outset, this place looks shady, and we almost didn't enter. But we were glad that we did. The interior is eclectic and quirky, in a grandma sort of way. The lady who greeted and served us was very cordial. The price is reasonable, we came out having spent $25 for the two of us, including tip.
And the food, it was awesome! My husband ordered a smothered burrito, I had a combo platter. I can't think of better Mexican food that I have had in Utah.
I didn't give five stars because the menus were dirty, the carpet needed vacuuming and the bathroom needed attention. The service was slow, but that is because they had a large group that came in just before us. And yes, the neighborhood made us a little nervous.
If I was just rating on the food and the server, five stars easily. We will definitely go back.

We have been to this restaurant and had a good experience, so we decided to come again today. My son, grandson and I were served by Sage. Trust me, if you are given this man as your server, ask for someone else. He took our drink order and then took forever bringing them. When he brought our silverware he just basically there it across the table. Honestly, we should have left then. When he took our order, I asked what soup they had and was told he didn't think it was ready so what kind of dressing did I want in my salad. My son wasn't even asked. We ordered Rib Eye Steaks. You are supposed to get a choice of 2 from several sides. We were told we were having mashed potatoes with gravy and veggies because that is what people normally have. We were not given a chance to even ask for something different. While we were waiting for our salads, I heard the same server tell the table across from us that he had forgotten to place their order so it would be longer than expected. We had to ask another server for steak sauce and were never asked if we wanted refills for our drinks. We basically got one is everything ok as he passed by, not stopping. When I spoke with the manager I explained to him that I had been a server and a restaurant manager so it takes a lot to make me complain because I know how it is. I also told him I always top a minimum of 20% and usually more, but that Sage was so terrible he was getting no tip at all. The manager, Ricardo, told me that this was not the first time he had received complaints like this about Sage and that he would talk to him. Honestly though the way he said it, I had more of an impression that he would just go in the back and laugh about it with the other staff. RIDICULOUSLY HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

While their competitors seem to be declining in service and product Papa John's stays consistent, delicious and reliable. Their pizza is fresh, delicious, and fast. They offer many types of pizza and build your own. Can't go wrong with Papa John's.
