We LOVED this restaurant. Driving through Karkshamn and in need of lunch, we found this place recommended in our Lonely Planet guide and wow, so glad we went! The buffet is extensive, with freshly prepared hot and cold dishes, several vegetarian options, and a grill station at which you can grill your own meats, vegetables, and even thick slabs of halloumi.
The full buffet (includes dessert and coffee) costs 125 SEK. There are a few other options at a slightly lower cost (in which only a subset of the buffet is available). Being a buffet, there is little service offered or needed.
If I lived in Karlshamn, I would be a regular at Gourmet Gron. Highly recommended.

Went back recently on a visit to Karlshamn and following on from my last review things have improved dramatically. Myself and a couple of friends ordered pizzas, which were excellent, and my wife ordered the 'Elephants Ear' steak which as also top drawer. Service was prompt and very friendly. Will be back in the Summer...

We were walking past and the Terrace outside looked very inviting, modern clean and comfortable and just across the road from the river. So we stopped for a drink.
Service was fast and friendly and there was a reasonable variety of drinks including cocktails. Certainly NOT cheap but we enjoyed it and went back again the following day.
We didn't try the food but the pizzas on a neighbouring table looked very very good.

Nice relaxed little place. Great fresh sushi. Really nice people. All the classics - sushi, sashimi, etc - plus a few other items. Chicken Teriyaki, Bento Boxes, etc. I think they said something about serving beer and wine soon. Will be back.

So far I've only visited this restaurant once, but I'll definitely return. Since it was a cold day, I didn't get to enjoy their outdoor Seating area but I was perfectly happy with the indoor setting. The food wasn't experimental at all, but the dishes they serve are sturdy and well executed, great!

Fantastic food, service and wine - we were there for a small wedding. It was a magical evening with full moon and the view out to sea is tremendous from the Terrace. What an incredible place in this small, charming town. Out of the way from the main shopping street on the harbor. Well worth it. Very proud staff of the fine food and service. What a terrific evening we had eating here. A must visit in Southern Sweden.

Working all over Sweden means that I often have to eat at hotel restaurants. This one is one of the best I have had the pleasure to eat at. The staff were very helpful and the food choice, although not extensive, caters for all tastes. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

A local friend took me here for take-out. Great price/quality balance. We ordered the Beef with Thai basil and Massaman curry, which were both very tasty. The sauce could've been a bit more creamy and less watery, but that didn't spoil the fact that the portions were quite big. Definitely recommended!
