All the locals know where to go for great barbecue....Gary's. The hush puppies are incredibly crispy on the outside but tender, moist and delicious on the inside. The home-made banana pudding is a perfect ending to a great meal. The only problem you will have is deciding what entree to have. The trademark barbecue chicken special, a hearty hamburger steak platter, sandwiches,Brunswick stew filled with awesome savory vegetables and meat or the smokey, perfectly seasoned barbecue that Gary's is famous for.

We have been dining here for over 15 years. Always enjoy the food and service provided. Even on very busy nights, the wait time is very little. Over time, the owners have done a wonderful job of enterior decorating.

Really good home style cooking plate lunches, seafood plates and sandwiches. Very generous portions at a reasonable price. A little hard to see the first time you go for some reason----went by it quite a few times before we realized it was there. Once you find it , you will remember where to go. Friendly and courteous staff and pretty quick service for the traffic that was there at the time. I will be going back!

First visit and I'll be back! We arrived for lunch around 1:30 and only had about a five minute wait, which gave us time to look over the choices. You're given a number for your table when you order/pay then the food is brought out to the table. The pulled pork platter was plentiful and left enough for my dinner. The baked beans, mac n cheese and cornbread were all very enjoyable. My dining partner enjoyed the beef brisket (tender) and sides. Also, on Wednesdays you get an extra side item. Service was great as everyone working there was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The restaurant is connected to another business, so parking is shared.

Love the flavors that they have here. It can change from time to time. You might walk into a different flavor every month. It's a bit pricey because all yogurts are price by the weight, so the more you have, the more you will be paying. So, a small cup will run you about $5 to $10. Just like the more kids you have the more its going to cost you. LOL

If you are looking for a home cooked meal then look no further. Visit the China Grove Restaurant for a verity of great food and friendly wait staff and atmosphere. If you are looking for sea food they have the best salt & pepper flounder and shrimp that is enough food for two. So visit and enjoy!!

Went about 9am on a Sunday morning. Parking lot was already full. Didn't have to wait but the restaurant was completely full. Lots of choices with a full four page menu. Omlettes and waffles very good. Home fries had a strange taste but the hashbrowns were good. Price was reasonable. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Mine was a flawless experience on my first visit; was greeted warmly and seated immediately. A very personable waitress walked us through the menu and gave recommendations. The food came quickly and was excellent and exactly as described. Many of the menu choices include bacon of some sort. Both of our menu choices were excellent and the prices right in line for this type of food. I really liked being able to get a beer with my dinner. The atmosphere and ambiance was nice, very much a bar. The also offer copious amounts of outside patio tables for those who prefer.

Small place, reasonably priced, prompt friendly service. I wanted something different, the reviews were good so I gave them a try. They have an express menu for lunch with a good selection. Then a range of items on their full menu. I had mini chicken salad croissant with salad. It was fresh, good and a perfect size for lunch. They were busy to be off a main road. I shall return.

I picked up some delicious cupcakes from this cute bakery and they were fresh and delicious! Not too far off the interstate.
