名阪関ドライブインと云う、高速が開通する前からある巨大なドライブインで和洋食のこのレストランを初めとして三重県内の銘菓、特産品等を殆ど網羅した売店があります。このレストランは京都や大阪方面へ帰るのに丁度良い位置にありいつも大型観光バスで溢れている、大繁盛しているお店です。昔ながらの良い部分も残した利用し易いレストランであり、ドライブインでした。

"Aizuya" is Japanese restaurant, located in historical Tokaido Trail town of Seki-juku. The restaurant offers homemade Japanese dishes, enjoyed by Japanese people over many years. Staffs are friendly and their faces are filled with smiles. The atomosphere of this eatery gives a sense of "coming home", even for the first time customers. I especially love their summer time dessert, delicately shaved ice, topped with ice cream and syrup. A delightful way to cool the heat of hot summer days in Japan!

Tasty refined Chinese restaurant that I would recommend but plan sufficient time since the service can be slow. I arrived around 13:30, after the lunch rush, but still took a while to get the food delivered.

I was having a day off during my business trip in Kameyama. So I rent a bicycle and ride around the seikijuku area. And I was so happy that I found this cozy cafe which is perfect for a relaxing day in seikijuku. Shop owner is a very welcoming lady who make very nice tea and cake. I recommend the cake set, the cake is surprisingly soft.
They also have lots of books and magazines but they are in Japanese.

ガツめし東海版でお馴染み。三重県内に6店舗を展開。五目あんかけ焼きそば６４０円(＋消費税)は２人前以上のビックサイズ！30ｃｍの巨大皿いっぱいのあんに野菜、麺もたっぷり。安い！旨い！笑えるほどのボリューム！朝昼抜きなら完食も容易。四日市とんてきなど地元限定メニューも充実。東京おぎくぼの冠を外しても十分イケそう。

銘菓「関の戸」
小豆のこしあんを求肥のお餅で包み
和三盆をまぶした一口サイズのお餅。
茶の湯の世界では隠れた名品です。
6個入り500円〜から。
伊勢志摩サミットの
国際メディアセンターでは、一番人気の和菓子だったと、ニュースで見ました。

日曜日の４時頃に行きました。店内は一杯、待っている人が二組でした。１０分程待って案内されました。特上を食べましたが、ご飯の量も多く、ご飯の間にもう一切れ大きめのうなぎがはさまってました。少食の女性はご飯少なめにしてもらったほうがいいかも。肝焼きは売り切れてました。でも、うな吸いの肝おいしかった。駐車場はお店の隣と道を渡った向かい側にありました。

東海道関宿で食事をしようと探していると、カフェ・イタリアンの店を見つけました。両となりや向かいが江戸時代の古い町並みなのに、この店舗は新しく今風です。でもなぜか町並みにマッチして全く違和感を感じさせないものでした。店を入ると昭和30年代のクラッシックカーが飾られて、良いアクセントになっていました。パスタセットを頼みましたが、なかなか美味しく味わうことができました。最後のコーヒーとティラミスのケーキは絶品で、一度賞味されるのをお勧めします。

The restaurant is across the road from the Route-Inn hotel, so easy to spot. That's pretty much the only one around.
Turns out it was quite reasonable dinner, with typical Japanese food. Nothing stellar, but it fit the bill if you want an affordable quick family dinner.
The menu has a typical mix of Japanese dishes: noodles, tempura, pork & cabbage, ...
I wasn't expecting much, considering the surroundings, so was overall happily surprised.
