Although there are dozens of identical 'Traditional Greek' restaurants in Kalamaki, I believe the Merlis is worth a mention. Firstly the service was great. Not pushy or overly polite. Very relaxed and welcoming. The food was also good and tasty and the price reasonable. We ate here for lunch and had the Gyro plate. Sadly out of lamb but the alternatives were nice. I would recommend this to those looking for a tasty, relaxing meal. It goes without saying.... free wifi.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Kalamaki . Run by Peter & his family , nothing is too much trouble. The food choice is varied , very reasonably priced & superb quality. If in Kalamaki you must visit this restaurant xx

We are people who like to go to traditional restaurants, sample the local cuisine and mix in like a local, so when we were recommended to go here we were over the moon. amazing food and atmosphere. We visited on 29th July and we in the mist of the heatwave, so were amazed by how well the staff coped with the sheer heat. This place is highly recommended and if your eating in Kalamaki you'll need to eat here. Would recommend booking and getting a taxi as its not on the main strip and the road there is a little dicey (only because everyone drives like a nutter and there's no pavement) . Will be returning next year!

The Iguana bar was right beside our accommodation. We went most mornings for breakfast which was always delicious. Very varied menu and good coffee. Also ate here a few evenings and the food was always excellent. Service is a bit slow but its a sign that the food is cooked fresh. The roof top Terrace bar is fab to sit in at night and watch the planes fly ahead.

This is a lovely restaurant with a small menu but excellent food. Different special offers are on the menu every night. Maybe slightly more expensive than the majority but worth it.
Presentation and service was excellent and I would recommend this small place where the tables are set in a courtyard setting. Situated just off the main strip of Kalamaki.

What can I say.....just amazing.
Food is plentiful and delicious. Staff are so friendly and helpful. They had run out of something my daughter liked but went to another restaurant to get it so she could have it!!
Children's outdoor play area which is great as you can watch them whilst eating from the balcony area.
Entertain was great. Kids got to throw plates and watched the flame throwing and joined in with the dancing.
We went several times and received a wonderful friendly welcome each time. And also received complimentary drinks and Deserts.
Food is very reasonably priced and ypu it's all fresh and you get lots.
I order the grilled lamb chops expecting 2 at most and got 5. ....yes 5.
For 2 adults and 1 child with a mix of the 4 starters. Child's meal our main meals, wine , beer and Deserts it came to around 60€ which was the best price we'd paid all holiday and well worth it
Totally delicious. Would definitely go there again. If not every night.

Although we went all inclusive, we fancied a proper English style breakfast one day and that is exactly what we got. Good value well cooked ingredients. Breakfast included a decent cup of coffee 'orange juice' and English style Bacon Sausage and all the usual trimmings. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and so we decided to us eit again a couple of times, for a late elunch one day( again good food and service) and also just for drinks when the English football was on. WE definitely recommend this place for no nonsense decent food and drink in a friendly atmosphere.

Great place to eat or takeaway and they deliver too. They do lovely food at great prices too and are open long hours, would go back again and again.
