This place continues to improve year over year. Must haves: Calamari appetizer - lightly breaded strips just our standing. Short ribs are meaty and delicious with the garlic mashed potatoes. Hula pie - something you absolutely need to try. This coupled with outstanding service this is a definite place to stop

Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice

All Shave Ice is Not Created Equal... We specialize in and are passionate about serving the BEST shave ice! Now open for 5 years, we have rapidly become recognized as the top shave ice shop in Maui and one of the top 3 shave ice shops in ALL of Hawaii! Get rid of any preconceived notions of what a shave ice or snow cone is like.....this takes shave ice beyond the highest level imaginable!

Walked down from our stay at the Marriott 3 times to enjoy our shave ice. Be sure to add a scoop or two of the ice cream to really top it off! Girls were friendly and had no problem adding more syrup if you needed it. We found the middle size to be just right with some ice cream in it. Too many flavors to try. Nice picnic tables with holes in them to hold your shave ice while you enjoy it.

Hula Grill Kaanapali

On the water's edge on Kaanapali Beach, Hula Grill offers a stunning view of the Pacific and of the islands of Lanai and Molokai that has to be seen to be believed. From this distinctly Hawaiian vantage point, you are invited to join us as we celebrate the hospitality, culture and cuisine of the islands. Dinner is served in our open-air dining room where you can relax in the ambiance of a plantation era beach house while enjoying renown chef Peter Merriman's Hawaii regional seafood that isn't only a favorite of vacationers, but locals, too. Hawaiian fresh fish and locally grown produce are combined to create amazing menu offerings that are as colorful as they are flavorful. Fiery sunsets are served up daily along with live Hawaiian entertainment. Our Barefoot Bar offers a more casual menu serving both lunch and dinner under authentic thatch roof umbrellas and a sand floor where you can sink your toes in. The Barefoot Bar is seated on a walk-in basis only.

Hula Grill is always a fun spot, live entertainment, your feet in the sand and great food but usually you can't get to dessert. This time we came back later for dessert wonderful. Also they sell their Hula grill sauce to go in great little bottles. A great gift

Wow. I understand why this is rated one of the best places to get ice cream in the country. Every time I travel I scope out a great ice cream shop, and this surely did not disappoint. The flavors are rich yet not too much, and the flavors include both unique flavors to Hawaii as well as flavors you would find in any ice cream shop. Definitely a good stop for ice cream lovers! When we are in Kaanapali, Island Vintage Coffee is one of our daily stops.
On our most recent visit in February, we went for coffee every evening except the night that it was pouring rain....
It is located on the lower level of the Whalers Village next to the Honolulu Cookie Factory.... very convenient.
I enjoy their fresh brewed Kona Coffee. We have also had the Green Tea Latte, the Kona Mocha and even a Taro latte drink. All have been very good.
Highly recommend this place.
