L'Agulhas (or Agulhas) is a coastal village and holiday resort in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Located just north of Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of the African mainland, it is the southernmost settlement in Africa. It is situated next to the town of Struisbaai and about 30 kilometres (20 mi) south of the regional centre of Bredasdorp. The name "Agulhas", Portuguese for "needles", is said to have been given to the cape because the compass-needle was seen to point due north, that is, with no magnetic deviation. The Agulhas Bank is reputed to be the richest fishing area in the Southern Hemisphere.

We were at Posada del Sol hotel and before leaving Junin we went out to lunch. All the food was delicious. The best was the entrance, stuffed provolone cheese. All the dishes were very good. The poor dish was pasta with fruits de mer (sea fruits) sauce. The squid was hard-boiled.
Estabamos en el hotel Posada del Sol y antes de dejar Junin salimos a almorzar. Toda la comida estaba deliciosa. El mejor plato fue la entrada, provolone rellena. Todos los platos estuvieron muy bien. El plata pobre fue la pasta con frutos del mar. El calamar estaba muy cocido.

We had dinner with 15 members of our family and enjoyed it so much we returned for Sunday lunch. Pasta dishes were amazing. Barbecue chicken and milanesas likewise, the salads too. Above all very charming service and nice family atmosphere. Best of all a nursery / playspace stacked with toys and books and...a babysitter!

Had some batidos and juices in this charming little shop with a nice curbside Terrace with chairs and tables. Open Sundays, very important detail in an otherwise sleepy town as Junin!

Fuimos por primera vez y muy linda la ambientación,muy cálido, con respecto a la comida, carta muy acotada, ni hablar los vinos solo de una bodega de La Pampa...?, Y no muy baratos,la comida bastante bien presentado pero carente totalmente de sabor, sin sal ni pimienta ni otros condimentos,hacen comida para enfermos,había unos ancianos y pedían sin nada, pero el resto?a mí gusto muy desabrido todo.Esperaba más sabores en general, ahí a medias la experiencia.

Unexpected surprise on my trip to Junin. Even though I had read very good comments about the restaurant, I never thought I was going to get such a red tuna! Day special. Cooked close to perfection. Nicely presented.
Very good Argentine wine options.
Excellent service! Gaston did an excellent job. The Chef also showed up at my table. Definitely a recommendation. I will come back.

La presentación y la ambientación son realmente agradables. La atención es muy buena, la decoración bien informal hace que uno se sienta como en casa. Los platos, especialmente las ensaladas, son muy abundantes y exquisitos. Para recomendar sin temor a decepciones.

Es un resto dentro del hotel. El bastante interesante como la carta de vinos. Muy acomodado el menu ejecutivo que aprovechamos antes de irnos por $ 150. Recomendable.

We ate a fantastic lunch at Matilda, the service was good, and the staff was very friendly. So good we were back in the evening for drinks prior to dinner Reservations elsewhere. They were definitely much busier in the evening than at lunch time, but still had great service.
