Tried the Italian cream cupcake and yum. Cake was moist and the icing wasn't too sweet. Hope to get back and try more flavors soon. We tried the macadamia turtle and that was good too. Great prices.

Had lunch there with a friend. Clean place with typical booths for dining. Very good service. I had the spaghetti which was about the right portion and very tasty. Was not impressed with the bread that came with it as it was the hard type of which I am not a fan. But pleasant atmosphere and easy parking.

We were there for the Storytelling Festival along with 10,000+ other people in the small town of Jonesborough and of course they were extremely busy but they take care of everyone with a smile and served up some great sandwiches and ice cream . Everyone pitches in and help you to get served as fast as is humanly possible when thousands of people invade the town. Meatloaf, Mac N Cheese with a Chocolate Milkshake chaser, what's not to love

Main Street Cafe & Catering

Making our way from Gatlinburg to Abingdon on back roads we found ourselves in Jonesboro at lunch time and stopped in at the Main Street Cafe. The cafe is in a great old building with high stamped ceilings. A great antique screen separates the front and back seating areas. On entering you pass by the dessert case. Almost impossible to think about an entre after that. Sooo, after sellecting dessert we settled on the quiche special for two members of the party and a philly cheese steak.for the third. Both were great as was the pumpkin caramel brownie. Glad we stopped!

Olde Towne Pancake House

Reviewed By MGordonCharlotte_NC - Charlotte, NC

We stopped in on a Sunday late morning (11:30) and were thrilled to know we could order from either the breakfast or lunch menu. They had a 'special' written on the board - Pumpkin Waffles....that would be great. Ready to order the special - we found that they were all out of the waffles....however - they did have pumpkin pancakes on the menu! A stack of three nice sized pancakes arrived with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a dollop of whipped cream on top. Very, very good choice and...they keep the pumpkin pancakes on the menu all year...not just in the Fall.

A wonderfully mild day encouraged us to dine on the small front porch - although the restaurant was very busy with almost every table occupied - service was efficient and friendly. This 'brunch' was very, very tasty and I will try something from the lunch menu on my next visit. I intentionally support locally owned (non chain) restaurants whenever I travel....the Olde Towne Pancake House certainly did deliver - good food, great service and overall a wonderful experience.
