Falafel Hakosem

The Best Place To Eat Falafel And Enjoy A Causy Evening

Reviewed By BarberistaMillerski - Ashland, Oregon

Very busy with both lots of cooks, workers, helpers, and hungry customers.
While we waited in the long line with many happy customers dining or waiting to order their falafel, the employees would come and give samples to whet your appetite as you wait. Many people taking orders and making your falafel the way you want.
Very fresh pita and all the best ingredients.
It was a pleasure to watch them all in action.
Busy, busy, busy.... and we saw and tasted why.

"The cookies just came out of the oven" is a phrase so often heard by customers at Cafe Xoho. With different flavors coming out of the oven every morning, the love and care can be sensed through the delicious smells in the air, and the art on every plate. From cookies to cakes and art to music, the word 'homemade' is a perfect description of this home away from home, in the centre of Tel Aviv. This restaurant was AMAZING. Natalie our waitress was so knowledgeable about all of the wine and food and made our visit extremely special. We had 2 amazing bottles of wines, the antipasti veggies, Moroccan bread, the Moroccan cigar special, Sicily charcuterie, roka steak, ribeye, the malabie dessert, and the chocolate ball dessert. Everything was unreal and we would definitely go back!!

Many locals come here for happy hour and the food are just great - we enjoy the dishes so much but our stomach cannot accommodate all. The hanger beef steak is great. The cream brulee lollipops and banana crumbs are must try. Overall the service is great and food is reasonably priced and delicious! Suggest to book for dinner.

Delish froyo, huge portions, an unimaginable number of toppings! You can literally get every topping they have, and the cost is still the same. I "only" asked for 5 toppings and the server said I was "easy peasy!" Yummy dessert, and fun, friendly service.

After a week of eating chicken and accompanying vegetables (which I like) the NY hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut was delicious. The Bazaar's selection of their own beers was very good. It's a great place to stop while shopping in the Mahaneh Yehuda Market.

Ate our first dinner in Israel here and it was fabulous. Menus is simple, with only a few options but the food quality was excellent, great value, owner friendly and engaged with customers, authentic middle eastern music played. Save room for the ONLY dessert option - Home made baklava topped with ice cream, nuts, and delicious liqueur. You MUST eat here if visiting Tel Aviv!!!

Frishman Falafel & Frishman Sabich

Reviewed By Hawk470 - Norwalk, Connecticut

Not much to look at and easy to miss at the corner of Frishman and Dizengoff, this streetside hole in the wall serves delicious falafel and, through its twin right beside, assorted other pita sandwiches. Each is made to order with all of the usual toppings to pick from. At both you can garnish your Sandwich with little bowls of serve it yourself salads — sweet, sour, and pickled. Then take your seat at the outdoor countertop tables and eat like a local!
Slightly crisp on the outside, moist on the inside and not at all like the hard and dry falafel you find many places, this may not be the best falafel in the world (Paris’ L’as du Falafel comes to mind), but it is definitely up there with the best.
