We stopped at Otherside Board sports next door to pick up skateboard wheels for our grandson. While I paid for them Dennis talked to the local police who were eating near our parking space and they recommended Bayside Gourmet. They were eating food from there. We had lobster bisque soup, grouper Reuben, and a large beet salad. Food and service the best! Love the edible orchids decorating each plate.

We stumbled upon this tiny cafe while shopping in Islamorada several years ago and now return to the same shopping area in part because of Bitton Bistro. Fabulous sandwiches with all natural ingredients and the salad dressing is so good we brought some home. Their smoothies are very filling, plan to share one if you have lunch. The bakery goods are also very good but I'm usually too full to partake.

I don’t know anything about this place other than the Key Lime Pie. It is exceptionally good. It’s the style with meringue on the top which isn’t usually my thing but this one was so, so, so good! Hubby had something but I don’t know what it was. I only had eyes for the pie.

We have been stopping here for years. Honestly, we have been known to drive from Ft Myers Beach just for breakfast here. This Saturday when we arrived the kids wanted a #1; monster Bunz. They were sold out; however, timing is everything, and the man himself arrived with a fresh batch; kid crisis avoided. The smiles on their faces said it all. I had the blue crab benedict; which is my favorite. One child had chicken tenders which are crusted with potato chips = Amazing. My wife had a normal breakfast, and as she put it, it was as good as always. The staff was friendly and welcoming; I wish some of the customers would check the attitude at the door. To other customers who are not accustomed to the Keys; you are in the Keys, you are going to get a great meal, it is ok to relax and enjoy yourself; stop being so uptight and acting like every little thing is a major issue; rant over. The servers did an amazing job dealing with attitudes. We have only stopped here for breakfast; someday we will stop for lunch. However, I suspect lunch is just as good as breakfast. At the very least, stop and pick up some Bunz, you will not be disappointed. As always, the crew did a great job; see you in July.

From the outside the place does not look special or appealing in any way. However once inside you enter a lovely (and busy) diner with happy staff and very good food. Ambiance is great really enjoyed sitting here. We came in around 12:45 and it was said we had to wait for 15 minutes, however within 3 minutes we could sit at the bar (which we thought was fine). They have a very extensive menu with a high variety of items to choose from. We ordered a egg-white omelet with onion and diced tomatoes, a taco salad and started with a soup-of-the-day (minestrone) soup came a little sooner, which was good and we shared the cup. Very tasty. The mains came shortly thereafter and to my surprise the rye bread was pre-buttered. So I asked for non-buttered bread which cam pretty soon also. Great service I have to say. Apart from the fact they actually billed me for that toast which costed them their tip (which was more than they gained of the toast now). Anyway, great place and although they made a little mistake there I would for sure recommend the place. Portions are huge but you can take home what you can't eat!

There was a bit of a lineup on Friday night but the staff still took the time to allow for samples and questions. The cups are basically a small tub. Lots of interesting favours but i went with the key lime ice cream cone. Delicious. Creamy but refreshing.

My fiancé and I had made a reservation for my birthday dinner. We had brought in fresh mangrove snapper that we had caught and had them prepare it for us. We had it done Adriatic and Ponchartrain style and it came with three sides which were rice, sweet potatoes and green beans. The food was excellent, the staff were all very nice to us and they made us feel right at home. We will definitely have dinner here the next time we are in town, it was by far one of the best meals I have had in a very long time!!

We visited the Bass Pro Shop and marina next door and then discovered this place. The setting on the beach is amazing, comfortable, and welcoming. They were accommodating to our family.
