Irbid (Arabic: إربد), known in ancient times as Arabella or Arbela, is the capital and largest city of the Irbid Governorate. It also has the second largest metropolitan population in Jordan after Amman, with a population of around 1,088,100, and is located about 70 km north of Amman on the northern ridge of the Gilead, equidistant from Pella, Beit Ras (Capitolias), and Um Qais. It's 20 km south of the Syrian border.

Microfund for Women, Jordan's largest microfinance insitution, would like to request your review of our new, socially conscious kitchen, Lukmeh Haniyyeh. <br><br>Lukmeh Haniyyeh (Delicious Bite) serves up scrumptious Jordanian classics ranging from a set menu of starters and mua’janat (appetizer pastries) and halouiat (sweets) to a rotating menu of daily specials such as maftool and maqlooba. Even better, it serves a good cause. The kitchen was started by Microfund for Women, the largest microfinance institution in Jordan, in partnership with USAID. MFW took under-served women that previously made food products out of their homes, provided them with relevant trainings, and then gave them a kitchen. Now the women work hard to fill the high demand from the Irbid community for their delicious, fresh dishes. The food is available to carry out, order by phone or eat in, and all proceeds support the financial empowerment of local women. This place is new in Irbid, Perfectly located in the university street and it serves icecream and things!
nice atmosphere, tasty stuff, kind staff and clean place. these all are advantages for this place which I recommend for an afternoon or evening icecream, studying there drinking hot chocolate or even just grabbing something on the go.

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. The restaurant is on a hilltop and has both indoor and outdoor Seating. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous, beautiful Mountains and Roman ruins.
The food cost around £10 per person and a variety of salads etc were served along with the food. It was freshly cooked and extremely delicious and fulfilling. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend everyone visiting the area to go there.

The sauce they are using for the sandwiches is amazing, but my advice is to try the Mushroom sandwiches, juicy tender meet with grilled onion and mushroom, with melted cheese, a must try Sandwich
